Background / History

Jiang Heng was originally a human who transmigrated into the Peerless Tang Sect era as a 100,000-year Golden Earth Dragon King. His predecessor had already exhausted its soul surviving a tribulation, leaving Jiang Heng to inherit a heavily damaged body and residual spiritual power. Human Soul Masters immediately pursued him for his spirit ring, forcing him to flee into the Star Dou Great Forest’s core region. Di Tian rescued him and Bi Ji treated his injuries, though the damage to his origin could not be fully healed. 1

After returning to the Golden Earth Dragon clan, Jiang Heng spent five to six years mastering his enormous body and inheriting his predecessor’s remaining spiritual power. As the clan’s sole 100,000-year Soul Beast, he became its undisputed king. He ordered the construction of an underground palace two thousand meters beneath the forest, both to shelter the clan and to conceal them from Soul Master hunts. 1
