Background / History
The God Realm was originally the Divine Dragon Realm, established and ruled by the Dragon God. The five original God Kings originated as seeds of the Creation God that became attached to this realm. When the Dragon God attempted to elevate the Divine Dragon Realm into a God Star, he violated universal laws, descended into madness, and began a war against the Beast Gods and the five God Kings. After the Dragon God was divided into the Golden Dragon King and Silver Dragon King, the damaged realm collapsed; the five God Kings reshaped its remaining power into the present God Realm. 199
The realm maintained authority over god positions and their inheritances. The Angel God and Rakshasa God positions, despite their holders' deaths, remained recorded in the God Realm's rules; destroying their physical inheritances would not erase those rules. 78
Prior to its disappearance, the God Realm's rules suppressed Douluo Planet. The demigod realm was described as the planet's normal limit, while a god position could serve as the privilege needed to surpass that restriction. 64 Soul Beasts were also prohibited from becoming gods under a restriction attributed to the Dragon God. 199

Influence on Douluo Planet
Tang San used contingencies embedded within the Angel Temple and Rakshasa Secret Realm to control access to their inheritances. His Angel Temple arrangement was intended to mark non-Tang entrants so that they could draw on divine power but could never become the Angel God's successor. 78 83
When Douluo Planet's Plane Consciousness isolated the world and blocked Tang San's oversight, Tang San persuaded Destruction God King to use the God Realm Hub to suppress the Plane Consciousness. The suppression lifted the isolation and allowed Tang San to inspect his arrangements again, while causing alarm among Douluo Planet's strongest inhabitants. 141
Destruction God King later determined that Douluo Planet had become too weak to autonomously produce gods. He set a new Angel God Trial for Ye Guyi and stated that she would need to enter the God Realm to complete the Angel God's inheritance. 139 141
Disappearance and Return
During the conflict surrounding the Golden Dragon King and Tang San, a storm swept through the God Realm. The realm subsequently disappeared, ending its direct suppression of Douluo Planet and causing fragments of the realm to fall toward the planet. 163 164
Ye Guyi and the severely injured Tang San fell onto Douluo Planet alongside a large God Realm Fragment. The fragment became a major strategic resource, later enabling experiments to convert soul power into divine power. 165 209 210
After Jiang Heng became the new Dragon God, he integrated another planet into the Douluo Plane, elevating it into the Douluo God Realm. Seventeen thousand years later, the original God Realm returned under the leadership of Rong Nianbing, Ji Dong, and Lie Yan.
