Background / History

Dai Mubai is a prince of the Star Luo Empire and the younger brother of Dai Weisi. Under the imperial family's succession rules, he must compete against his brother for the throne: the loser may have their cultivation abolished, be exiled, or die. His arranged fiancée is Zhu Zhuqing of the Zhu family, whose Nether Spirit Cat Martial Soul is paired with the White Tiger lineage in the imperial system 365.

He fled to the Heaven Dou Empire and enrolled at Shrek Academy. While Zhu Zhuqing trained to resist the fate imposed on her family, Dai Mubai spent his time frequenting hotels with women, including the Rose Hotel. His conduct destroys Zhu Zhuqing's remaining hope that they could cooperate against the succession struggle 67.

His desperation over the Star Luo succession contest drives much of his later behavior.
