Onizuka reclined leisurely on a lounge chair belonging to Class C, the signed contract in his hand as his gaze drifted over the lines of text.
He carefully reviewed it several times to ensure there were no loopholes, a satisfied smile spreading across his face.
Contract terms:
[Class C is Party A; Class B and Class D are Party B]
[Party A shall not report the leaders of Party B, and vice versa]
[All members of Party A shall transfer 3,000 private points to Onizuka Tsukasa every month until graduation]
[Neither Party A nor Party B shall disclose the existence of this contract to anyone]
With things developing this way, it was actually more beneficial for Onizuka.
If he didn't cooperate with Ryuen, he could wait until the end to let him experience the despair of gaining zero points.
All he would gain then would be 80% of Class B's 20 points (50 for a successful report minus 30 for a change in leadership).
But if he chose to cooperate, the situation would be different.
By reaching an agreement with Ryuen, he could actually obtain more benefits.
Compared to simply getting those 16 points from Class B, this deal would directly bring him the equivalent of 30 class points—nearly double!
Even so, Onizuka couldn't help but feel a little regretful.
After all, he had originally intended to use this opportunity to extort Ryuen for even more.
Don't underestimate these 30 class points; with 40 students per class, if they were all funneled to one person, that would be 120,000 private points every month!
At this moment, Ryuen, having finished handling all the affairs of Class C, had a light sheen of sweat on his forehead. Seeing Onizuka still lounging comfortably on the chair made his blood boil.
It was infuriating that this guy had turned his plans into a total mess, yet was now relaxing here and brazenly using his supplies.
"Signing the contract doesn't mean you get to stay here. Get lost."
Ryuen's tone was laced with obvious anger, making no attempt to hide his annoyance with Onizuka.
"Also, Ichinose from Class B hasn't signed the contract yet, so it's not valid yet. Get up and come with me to the Class B campsite. Stop wasting time."
Hearing this, Onizuka asked with some curiosity:
"What? You know where Class B is?"
"They came to scout long ago, much earlier than you lot. Tsk, I really can't figure out how Class D ended up with a monster like you."
Onizuka lazily lifted his eyelids, squinting at Ryuen through his sunglasses, his tone remaining indifferent.
"That's quite rude. I don't consider myself some sort of maverick monster."
"But there's no rush to go to Class B. Since you know their location, we can just go before the exam ends. Given their personalities, they have no reason to refuse this 'peace treaty'."
Onizuka chuckled, his tone relaxed.
"Doesn't your class still have one day of usage rights for these things? What's wrong with me taking the chance to enjoy them? There are still six full days left, plenty of time, don't worry~"
"Tsk, inexplicable confidence."
Although he said that, Ryuen didn't continue to argue, seemingly feeling that what he said made sense.
He returned to the lounge chair, enjoying the final moments of leisure in this exam.
Once his mind settled, the scenery surrounding this Uninhabited Island became increasingly tranquil and beautiful.
A speedboat sped across the sea, the spray sparkling brilliantly under the sun. All around was the boundless ocean, rolling with waves as a warm sea breeze brushed past.
Onizuka sat on the lounge chair, eyes half-closed, his gaze beneath the sunglasses lazy and comfortable.
A thin layer of condensation formed on the bottle of iced drink in his hand. With every light sip, the icy sensation quickly penetrated his throat, bringing waves of coolness.
Ah~ this is what a real vacation feels like.
...Third Day of the Uninhabited Island Exam...
Onizuka had stayed at the Class C base yesterday; because he had obtained Ryuen's permission, it wouldn't result in any point deductions.
He had enjoyed a night by the sea in a comfortable, private tent.
"Onizuka! You should be up by now, right?"
Ryuen's voice pierced through the tent, carrying a hint of impatience. Upon hearing it, Onizuka slowly pulled the zipper of the tent and walked out lazily.
The sun had just begun to shine on the beach, and the air was filled with the faint scent of sea breeze and sea salt.
"Look, you're rushing again." Onizuka stretched his back and took a deep breath.
"It's just using your tent for one night, is it really worth getting so worked up over?"
Ryuen's expression changed, his fists clenching; he was clearly out of patience.
His gaze locked onto Onizuka, his voice filled with suppressed anger.
"You have the nerve to say that? You stayed in my tent!"
Onizuka stood there unhurriedly, hands casually tucked into his pockets, as if he didn't care about Ryuen's anger at all.
Even with the level of point expenditure in Class C, a single tent for every person was impractical.
After all, they not only had to provide seven days' worth of living supplies for Class A, but also rent a certain amount of luxury goods to serve as a cover, much like that assault boat which had already been reclaimed by the school.
Onizuka had taken a fancy to this completely unique tent at first sight, spending 20,000 private points to rent it for a single night.
To him, his current balance of points was enough to spend quite freely; a mere 20,000 points to rent an "Uninhabited Island Luxury Single Room" for one night was nothing but pocket change.
Therefore, he couldn't understand why a guy like Ryuen was so angry; it wasn't as if he hadn't paid.
However, he soon noticed Ryuen's exhausted appearance, especially his eyes, which were clearly weary, with sunken sockets and very prominent dark circles.
Onizuka raised an eyebrow slightly, his gaze lingering for a moment on Ryuen's face.
"What's wrong with your eyes? They're so dark. Surely you didn't run out of places to stay just because of me, did you?"
Ryuen's expression turned even gloomier in an instant, his brows furrowing tightly as he glared fiercely at Onizuka. He clearly had no mood for jokes, simply speaking coldly:
"That's not it. It's just that I chose the wrong roommate last night. That guy Albert..."
At this point, Ryuen visibly shuddered, a look of displeasure crossing his face as if the events of that night were still lingering in his mind.
"Don't bring it up, it's pointless," he muttered softly.
He then waved his hand, signaling for Onizuka to hurry up and get ready.
"These rented items are basically due to be returned, and it's time for us to make a move."
Having said that, he turned quickly and walked toward the distant campsite, leaving behind a final instruction: "Hurry up and wash up, get ready, we have to head to the other classes."
Onizuka shrugged indifferently and strolled toward the wash area, his mind already turning to the plans ahead.
