Sirius, a motorcycle enthusiast, wasn't ignorant of Muggle science. He knew how difficult it was.

He laughed. "It's obviously just an empty promise Fudge made to distract everyone, so they'd forget that Voldemort was still alive—and that he was worth less than a pig."

"It's worked, especially after Dumbledore declared Voldemort no longer had the power to murder anyone."

"The students' parents are happy to spend Christmas at home instead of leaving their children in the safest place in the Wizarding World."

"And Fudge himself gets to sit easy in the Minister's chair."
