Background / History

Kallen Greer was born in the ninth Lower Hive City of Lucius Forge World to two assembly-line workers. His mother died in a machinery accident when he was five. Despite considering himself of limited talent, he entered the Machine Cult and became a Tech-Priest. 52

His defining intellectual drive was not rank, but discovering the underlying logic behind machine spirits and recovering humanity's technological glory from the Golden Age. This conflicted with Mechanicus orthodoxy. Archmagos Varok condemned Kallen for questioning doctrine rather than obeying it, expelled him from the Forge World, and assigned him to a remote planet. 52
