Daddy said coolly, then joined the attack on the many pirate ships at Debo Port.
He thought just like Kuro: even if he didn't want the ships, he wasn't about to let those pirate underlings sail off in them!
"Damn it! What do you mean, I have no appeal at all?! Just because you're a little handsome and a little strong doesn't mean you can act so smug!
"One day, you'll be begging at my feet for the sake of my bikini!"
Nami huffed angrily, but remembering the killer's cruelty, she grew quieter with every word until she was cursing him silently to herself.
Still, the captain wasn't wrong. She was best at finding treasure. So... should she stash some away for herself?
Nami even glanced at the corpse of East Blue Overlord Krieg. That was a 17-million-Beli bounty!
She wanted it so badly!
If she could cash it in, she'd be that much closer to her goal of a hundred million.
At the same time, she was counting on Daddy. She hoped he would defeat Arlong and not get killed by him instead. Otherwise, she and her village would be dragged down with him.

The treasure and valuable supplies from the pirate ships, along with Debo Island's treasure, were loaded onto the Dreadnaught Sabre.
That's right, the Big Daddy Pirates were changing ships again.
The Dreadnaught Sabre was a huge sailing ship with three decks and a black panther figurehead. It was the unlucky ship from the original story that Hawkeye Mihawk sliced in two.
Still, it had a decent record. It had at least crossed Reverse Mountain into the Grand Line, then been chased by Hawkeye from the Grand Line, forced its way back to the East Blue through the Calm Belt, and finally been cut down by the World's Greatest Swordsman near Baratie.
Just as Daddy was thinking of burning all the pirate ships, he hadn't expected someone to approach him so quickly with a business proposal.
On Debo Island, inside the former headquarters of the Krieg Pirates.
The King of Shipping's East Blue representative, who worked for the Dark Emperor of the Underworld, was bold enough to land on Debo Island, which looked like hell itself. He offered to buy the twenty or thirty pirate ships of the Krieg Pirates.
He also offered to introduce Daddy to some of Krieg's underworld connections, so Daddy could take over those networks.

But they had to ship the stuff from the New World to the Four Seas, so apparently it was worth that much!
And it was still impossible to find even at that price.
With the principle that money was just a worldly possession in mind,
Daddy spent Krieg's treasure to buy up the few Seastone weapons and Seastone restraints the East Blue representatives had on hand.
In the end, Daddy didn't slaughter the pirate underlings. He simply disbanded the Krieg Pirates on the spot and drove them all away.
Kuro had said he wanted to kill them all, and a representative of an East Blue underworld group had even offered to buy them as slaves for a low price.
But in the end, Daddy couldn't bring himself to stamp out that last spark of humanity.
He had seen the yearning for life in the eyes of those pirate underlings.
Daddy didn't know whether he'd made the right decision.
Kuro and El Drago might have sneered at it, but Zoro and Nami approved of what Daddy had done.
The destruction of the East Blue Overlord's Krieg Pirates sent dozens of islands near Debo Island into celebration. The great pirate crew that had oppressed them for so long had finally been wiped out.

They were the first to learn the inside story of the Krieg Pirates. They had even learned about the formation of the Big Daddy Pirates before the Marines did.

"Anyone with that kind of spirit and courage is bound to be no ordinary person!"
Smoker thought of the Roger Pirates, who had set out from the East Blue, and the Spade Pirates, who had left two years ago. Fire Fist Ace had joined the Whitebeard Pirates and become a notorious great pirate in the New World!
