But there were no surprises. Bear King was sent flying once again, and this time his eyes rolled back completely as blood streamed from his head.

Honey Queen, who was frantically fleeing through the cracks, had even lost all her clothes. Her mastery of the Paramecia-type Paste-Paste Fruit was still at the most basic level; she couldn't even assimilate her clothes.
Gasparde, the Marine defector of the Grand Line, could use his Paramecia-type Candy-Candy Fruit to turn his entire body into candy and take on all kinds of forms.
And Katakuri, the strongest of the Three Sweet Commanders in the New World, had taken his Paramecia-type Mochi-Mochi Fruit to a terrifying level. Mimicking Straw Hat Luffy's Gum-Gum Fruit techniques and throwing out dozens of fists was child's play for him. He used it so well it was almost as powerful as a Logia.

Honey Queen turned into a lump of paste and trembled in a corner of a crack, praying that these murderous fiends would leave Clockwork Island soon.
Even the powerful Captain Bear had been defeated so easily. She felt that this East Blue pirate crew really were devils!
"Come out!"
Suddenly, a voice made the terrified Honey Queen tremble again, but she didn't dare move or speak!
"I know you're in there. If you don't come out, I'll kill you!"
Daddy punched the crack, blasting out a huge crater. Honey Queen trembled so badly inside that she couldn't maintain her paste form.
She had no idea how this man had found her.
"I can sense your life force. You can't escape! If you don't come out, then when I catch you, you'll be dead!"
Daddy said coldly. If she wasted any more of his time, she couldn't blame him for being ruthless!
"Don't kill me! I'm coming out!"
Honey Queen immediately oozed out of the crack and slowly took shape in front of Daddy, though she still kept a paste-like form.
"Can you give me some clothes?"
Honey Queen asked in a tearful voice. This man was terrifying; his cold aura alone made her tremble all over!
But in the next instant, a pitch-black, hardened hand grabbed her by the neck, making her paste body vanish and restoring her to her original form.
Struggling for breath, she flushed red and began to thrash.
Why could this man grab her even when she was in her paste form?
"You've wasted a lot of my time. I'm in a foul mood now!"
Daddy looked at the fair-skinned woman whose naked body was covered by a censoring glow. A sudden surge of lust took hold of him, and, as if possessed by Liang Kun, he forced her down.
After who knew how long,
the fair-skinned blonde woman, wrapped in Daddy's cloak, followed him back to the center of Clockwork Island, her face flushed and pitiful.
By then, the entire island was under the control of the Big Daddy Pirates.
Aside from the pirates who'd been slaughtered on the spot, all the rest were kneeling in the hall, including the Clockwork Island residents who'd been oppressed and coerced by the pirates.
Kuro of a Hundred Plans gave Daddy a knowing look. He clearly knew what had happened, but Daddy didn't care. Right now, he was a pirate who pursued power and answered to no one!
He'd just needed to let off some steam.
Nami was working hard to dismantle the enormous Diamond Clock. She needed to haul away the clock, which was worth hundreds of millions of Beli, and had no time to notice that Daddy had disappeared. Right now, all she could see was Beli.
"Should we slaughter all these pirates?"
Kuro of a Hundred Plans asked with a smile, but his words made everyone feel as if they'd plunged into an icy pit, their hearts pounding with fear!
Daddy didn't answer. Instead, he walked over to the mayor and his wife, a couple dressed like scientists.
"Can you refit ships?"
Daddy asked. They'd managed to turn an entire island into Clockwork Island, so their technical skills must be decent. Surely they could add clockwork technology to let a pirate ship fly for a short time?
"How do you want us to refit it?"
The mayor and his wife asked fearfully. These pirates were even more brutal than the Trump Pirates, and they didn't dare resist in the slightest.
"I want an emergency escape function added to the stern, and clockwork propulsion added under the hull so it can fly upward!"
Daddy explained his basic idea. Another way to escape couldn't hurt—and it might even help them prepare to land on Sky Island!
"We'll need time, supplies, and manpower."
Seeing Daddy's expression brooked no refusal, the mayor and his wife could only agree, though they did so reluctantly.
"You can make these pirates do whatever you want. Beat them to death if you have to. Just finish the refit as quickly as possible!
"Oh, and your son is still alive. Do a good job on the refit, and maybe your son will come back to you!"
To keep the scientists from sabotaging the work or laying a trap, Daddy went straight to threatening them with their son.
"Really?"
The mayor and his wife asked excitedly. When the Poker Pirates had occupied Clockwork Island, they'd had no choice but to send their newborn son out to sea to find a chance at survival for him.
They'd never expected to hear this news. It had to be because of the information they'd left with their baby that this pirate had found out.
"Do the refit well! If I'm satisfied, your island will be liberated!"
After speaking, Daddy left the rest of the arrangements to Kuro of a Hundred Plans, the brains of the operation. Then he took Honey Queen to look around the island and, while they were at it, find somewhere for round two.
Daddy had shown a little kindness toward Dezaya, and he'd also felt a trace of kindness toward Nojiko. But with Honey Queen, he had no kindness left. She was simply an object of desire; there were no feelings involved.
And so, the Big Daddy Pirates stayed on Clockwork Island for a short while, waiting for the ship to be reinforced.
Kuro of a Hundred Plans tried to learn from Daddy, using his methods to bring Bear King, captain of the Poker Pirates, to heel. He threw the Steel-Steel Fruit user into the sea to soak, or threatened to make him kill himself if he refused to submit. At any rate, Kuro wouldn't kill him himself.
By the next day, Pin Joker and Pig Jack had been tormented into begging to join the Big Daddy Pirates and become low-ranking pirates aboard the ship.
That finally raised the Cat Brothers and Iron Wall Pearl's standing on the ship by a notch. They were no longer at the very bottom.
Without a bounty on your head, you couldn't even become a low-ranking pirate in the Big Daddy Pirates!
Nami had also noticed that there was something between Daddy and Honey Queen. To secure her position on the ship, she'd started showing off her charms a little more in front of Daddy.
She absolutely couldn't let that vixen take control of the ship's finances, especially not let Honey Queen lay a finger on the Diamond Clock she'd just gotten!
Daddy also made a point of showing Nami that he valued her. Her talent for navigation was an indispensable part of the Big Daddy Pirates!
