In the cemetery on Sphinx Island, a large number of new graves had appeared.

Even now, they had not been able to ransom back Pops's body from Wang Shi.

They had no idea how Cross Guild had dealt with Jozu's body either.

There was already clear information that the bodies of the other division commanders and allied captains had fallen into the hands of Gecko Moria, one of the Shichibukai.

But Gecko Moria and Doflamingo had become very close.

After the Whitebeard Pirates had struggled to stabilize their territory across more than a dozen islands, they simply had no strength left to attack Gecko Moria and reclaim the bodies.

The Whitebeard Pirates were truly powerless in every regard now.

Forget reclaiming the bodies—they could not even protect Whitebeard's hometown.

At dawn, the Whitebeard Pirates' small fleet returned after traveling through the night.

Fire Fist Ace and Marco, along with the others, rushed to the cemetery.

Whitey Bay and Elwan did not give Izo or Ace so much as a pleasant expression, not even sparing them a proper glance.

The oppressive atmosphere made Doma and McGuy extremely uncomfortable.

They also discovered that the Decalvan Brothers were nowhere to be seen.

The Den Den Mushi had said that the Decalvan Brothers had not died. They had each escaped from Edward Weevil's hands at the time.
