History
Wang Shi seized the former Goa Kingdom after stopping the Outlook clan and Stelly’s plot to murder the royal family. He secured legitimacy through marriage to Princess Sally Nandcarnet, who became queen alongside him. 1 3
The kingdom’s initial expansion began with Konomi Kingdom, whose tribute of 100,000 Berries and 10,000 catties of oranges was treated as an insult. Wang Shi framed the campaign as both retaliation and liberation from Captain Nezumi and the Arlong Pirates’ exploitation. 5 11
Goa’s forces subsequently occupied Four-Leaf Kingdom, Moonlight Kingdom, Organ Kingdom, and Konomi Kingdom. After the Arlong Pirates were defeated and their controlled settlements were reclaimed, the state announced its reformation as the Goa Empire. 17
The empire later defeated Germa 66, absorbed the Germa Legion, and gained marriage ties with the Germa and Donquixote families through Reiju and Baby 5. 59 63
Its influence expanded beyond East Blue through recruitment, underworld alliances, military expeditions, and bases or operations in locations including Silver Island, Jaya, Sabaody Archipelago, Alabasta, and the New World. 133 143 186 233 280
