Background

The Body Sect is a small, elusive organization centered on Body Martial Souls. Its members generally remain in seclusion rather than openly causing trouble, and its movements are difficult for outsiders to trace. This lack of visibility contributes to its limited public recognition despite the potential of Body Martial Souls. 5

Body Martial Souls are exceptionally rare mutations and differ greatly from user to user. They are not reliably inherited: even relatives may possess entirely different Martial Souls, while each individual Body Martial Soul can carry distinct physical and elemental traits. 69

The sect has no permanent mountain gate. Instead, it uses scattered gathering points to exchange information and assemble disciples. Snow Demon Mountain is its largest known gathering place; at one point, thirty-six members are present there out of a total membership of just over one hundred. 66
