I Shouldn't Have Told You This
Nothing at Hogwarts is easy, except for Quidditch Match, where Hufflepuff easily defeated Ravenclaw.
The moment Cedric caught the Golden Snitch, the Ravenclaw students in the stands were completely stunned. They sat there, utterly bewildered, unable to utter a single word.
Professor Flitwick came by once halfway through the match, but he only stayed for a few minutes before leaving, clutching his chest.
In less than half an hour, the score was 320 to 0...
Despite being used to consistently finishing last in Quidditch Match, such a huge score difference was still hard for them to accept.
Especially that incredibly glaring "0" on the scoreboard!
Even just one goal would be great...
"Cedric, why are you flying so fast!"
Back on the ground, Kyle whispered, "We've already won; catching the Golden Snitch is pointless."
"I have to keep searching for the Golden Snitch all the time, I don't have time to keep an eye on the score."
Cedric glared at Kyle, gritting his teeth as he said, "Besides, have you ever seen a match where the Seeker lets the Golden Snitch... Giving up the Golden Snitch is like giving up honor, and no Seeker would do that!"
"On the contrary, it's you guys. I was just not paying attention for a moment, and you're already 17 to 0!"
This score is outrageous! Couldn't you have gone easy on them a little...? What, don't you guys want to take the spells class anymore?
"I didn't even notice..." Kyle said with a bitter face, "It was just too easy, and by the time I remembered, the game was already over."
The two exchanged a glance and sighed simultaneously.
In the days that followed, the atmosphere in Ravenclaw was extremely somber. Their relationship with Hufflepuff had been fairly good, but now everything had changed.
Although no fight broke out, the relationship between the two sides was very strained.
Even when Hufflepuff's young wizards occasionally greeted them, they would turn away as if they hadn't heard them.
In this atmosphere, Kyle and Cedric have been avoiding Qiu for the past few days, too embarrassed to even speak to her.
However, Qiu herself didn't seem to care too much about it, and her slight emotional reaction gradually dissipated after the match ended.
In her view, Hufflepuff won fair and square; they only lost because they were not strong enough.
After a Transfiguration Class, Qiu watched Kyle about to dash out of the classroom, and with a speechless smirk, called out, "Hey, Kyle!"
"Forehead..."
Kyle froze on the spot, stiffly turning her head as if she had just noticed him. "It's Qiu... cough cough, I didn't even notice you were here."
Qiu laughed at his clumsy excuse, shook her head, took a deep breath, and said, "I forgot to take notes in class. Can I borrow yours to copy?"
"Of course, no problem."
Kyle quickly took out a black notebook and handed it over.
"Look around as you like, you can return it whenever you want... um, you don't have to return it either."
"Thank you." Qiu took the notebook.
Kyle chuckled sheepishly, "Of course, of course..."
After Kyle left, Qiu casually tucked the notebook into the back of her textbook.
As a Ravenclaw, she certainly couldn't have forgotten to take notes; saying this was just an excuse to prevent Kyle and Cedric from thinking about all sorts of things and avoiding her like she was some kind of You-Know-Who.
Seeing that Kyle seemed much more relaxed, Qiu rolled her eyes and sighed, "Ha, stupid boy."
Kanna, who was next to her, nodded in agreement.
Meanwhile, Kyle told Cedric about what had just happened while having lunch in the Great Hall, and then left the castle, heading towards the Forbidden Forest.
Dumbledore successfully cured Fluffy yesterday.
Kyle also went to check the paint.
As soon as Fluffy excitedly ran over, its three big heads scrambling to snuggle into his arms, showing no sign of the Dark Magic it had just endured; it was incredibly carefree...
But that's probably one of the advantages of not being very smart.
Kyle wanted to check on Hagrid's condition.
After all, when Fluffy was receiving treatment, he sat at the entrance to the penalty area every day, not letting anyone get close, and he barely ate anything.
The food Kyle brought over these past few days has been left untouched and untouched.
Kyle estimated that if Dumbledore had been any slower, the hallucination that Fluffy saw would most likely have become a reality.
When Kyle arrived at the cabin, Hagrid was cooking something. He had lost a lot of weight, but he seemed to be in good spirits.
"Kyle, you've arrived!" Hagrid greeted him warmly.
"I just finished class and thought I'd drop by," Kyle said with a smile. "Are you making lunch?"
As he spoke, he peeked into the pot.
But Kyle immediately regretted it.
It was a pot of thick soup with a very unusual color, brown mixed with a little red, and it even seemed to have a hint of purple.
Moreover, bubbles would occasionally rise to the surface of the soup, and as soon as Kyle got close, he smelled a strong, fishy odor.
"Hagrid, are you... making Potions?" Kyle asked suspiciously.
After all, he had only seen this color and consistency of liquid in Potions Class.
Or to be more precise... in Mikel's crucible.
"Potions? Of course not, I don't know how to brew that kind of stuff." Hagrid shook his head and said, "This is for Fluffy, it contains dragon blood, dragon liver... all things he likes to eat."
The poor little guy must have been terrified these past few days; he definitely needs some good nutrition.
Upon hearing that it was intended for Fluffy, Kyle didn't say anything more.
Judging from Three-headed Dog's taste, this failed Potions... well, the stew was quite a feast.
Hagrid stirred the pot a couple of times with a large spoon, then brought out Rock Cake and tea from the cabin and placed them in front of Kyle.
"Fluffy is fine, he's as lively as ever, there's nothing better than that."
Hagrid wiped his eyes and said, "This poor little thing, if I find out who used Dark Magic on it, I'll make sure they regret it!"
With that, Hagrid squeezed the Rock Cake in his hand until it crumbled to pieces. The larger pieces flew onto the pan, making a series of clanging sounds.
Kyle chuckled dryly. Perhaps only Hagrid would call a ferocious-looking, Three-headed Dog, over ten feet tall, "little guy"...
Ignoring Hagrid's peculiar description, Kyle asked curiously, "Has Professor Dumbledore still not found out who did it?"
"No."
Hagrid sighed and said, "But we'll definitely find out. Nothing at Hogwarts can be hidden from Dumbledore, otherwise he wouldn't have kept the Philosopher's Stone hidden... Oh, I shouldn't have told you this."
