"I can't believe it, Kyle."

Late at night, beside the wooden barrel outside the Hufflepuff common room, Cedric said with a conflicted expression, "You actually agreed to go for a night stroll with the Weasley brothers!"

"I've thought about it, and they're right."

Kyle was looking down, rummaging through his Mokeskin Pouch. "I really need to do something fun to cheer myself up."

"But you can't go out at night..." Cedric said with great distress, "That's against school rules. If you get caught, you'll not only lose points, but you'll also be put in detention! You're only a first-year student, you absolutely can't go down the path of breaking school rules!"

Cedric spoke with great sincerity, as if he genuinely didn't want Kyle to be led astray by the Weasley brothers.

"Don't worry, with the Marauder's Map, no one can catch us."

At that moment, Kyle also found what he was looking for, looked up at him, and said, "Also, before you say those things, shouldn't you take a look at your position? This is a castle corridor, not a common lounge. You're also part of the night tour, okay?"

"I... I don't want to go out at night," Cedric said stubbornly. "I just want to keep an eye on you and prevent you from breaking any more school rules."

"Tch~~" Kyle scoffed, raising an eyebrow. "Okay, I'll take your word for it. We'll go back now and not go to the Forbidden Forest to watch those Mooncalf dance."

"Um, that..." Cedric's eyes suddenly became unfocused, and he stammered, "No, I... that's not what I meant, I just wanted to..."

"You want to go to the Forbidden Forest, huh?" Kyle interrupted him rudely, pointing to the silent Kanna beside him. "Learn from her. If you want to go, just wait patiently. If you say another word, I won't take you."

Cedric chuckled twice, then immediately fell silent.

Earlier in the Great Hall, although Kyle and the Weasley Twins tried to keep their voices down, the dining table was only so big, so Cedric and Kanna, who were sitting next to them, inevitably heard some of it.

When Kyle sneaked out of the dorm that night, he turned around and saw two heads staring straight at him in the moonlight.

The scene terrified Kyle, sending chills down his spine and instantly banishing any lingering sleepiness, leaving him drenched in a cold sweat.

These two are Cedric and Kanna, and their goal is simple: to go to the Forbidden Forest with Kyle.

Then that's what happened.

After Cedric calmed down, Kyle took out a long, thin bundle from the Mokeskin Pouch and handed it to him, saying, "Choose one."

Cedric looked at the item in Kyle's hand and felt it looked familiar. Upon closer inspection, he realized it was actually a scarf from one of the other three houses.

It has all the colors: Gryffindor's gold and red, Slytherin's silver and green, and Ravenclaw's grey and blue.

There were about a dozen of them, tightly bound together; if you didn't look closely, you'd think they were just wooden stakes.

Cedric was a little dazed and asked instinctively, "Kyle, why are you giving me this? I already have my own scarf."

"This isn't for keeping you warm, it's just a precaution," Kyle said without turning his head. "If you get caught, just throw it on the ground when you run away."

"..."

Cedric and Kanna exchanged glances, unsure whether they should take it or not.

Seeing that they didn't move, Kyle simply pulled out two silver-green scarves and hung them around their necks.

He uses this himself too.

After putting on their gear, the three left the kitchen corridor and arrived at the agreed-upon place—the doorway of a small house next to the Great Hall, which was also the place where the freshmen were to be assigned to their respective colleges.

Aside from the branch campus, this place is generally unnoticed; even Filch rarely patrols here.

When they arrived, Fred and George were already there waiting.

"Wow~ Look who's here!" George's eyes lit up. "First place: Cedric, and Connor, the warrior who conquered Snape!"

Fred exclaimed excitedly, "I never imagined our night tour group would be so luxurious! This is truly amazing... wait a minute!"

Then, he suddenly noticed something and asked in confusion, "Why are you all wearing Slytherin clothes?"

Kyle, left with no other option, had to explain again.

"What a brilliant idea..."

Fred and George were utterly astonished upon hearing this, and eagerly asked, "Are there any more? Quickly, give us one too!"

Kyle shrugged and gave them two silver-green ones as well.

Don't ask why they're all from Slytherin; it was just something I did casually, and it has absolutely nothing to do with Snape targeting him.

The twins took the scarf and put it on immediately.

Fred admired his new look and asked curiously, "Kyle, I don't think you've ever left Hogwarts, where did this come from?"

My mom sent it to me.

Kyle explained, "Along with the scarf was a master key and an Invisibility Cloak that had been enchanted with Disillusionment Charm."

Although I don't know why she sent me these things, they come in handy now.

Kyle spoke casually, but he didn't notice that the twins opposite him had red eyes.

"A master key..."

"Invisibility Cloak..."

Fred swallowed hard and said sincerely, "Mrs. Chopper is simply the greatest mother in the world."

"That's right," George agreed wholeheartedly. "Her story and thoughts should be written into a book and placed in the most prominent position in Flourish and Blotts and the school library."

"If that day ever comes, I promise I will buy it."

"I'll buy it even if it means going bankrupt."

"Place it in the kitchen..."

"Or in Mom's room!"

"If that day ever comes..." Kyle grinned, "You'll most likely get a beating from Mrs. Weasley."

"No," Fred said seriously, "Mom never hangs us up to beat us."

"All she does is twist our ears," George laughed. "I guess she wants to twist them off so she won't call us by the wrong names anymore."

"Although she never mispronounced it."

Seeing Kyle chatting and laughing with the twins, Cedric and Kanna were too scared to move, fearing that Filch would suddenly jump out from some corner and drag them to the professor's office.

"Don't worry, we've been watching the Marauder's Map." Fred, noticing their odd behavior, unfolded the parchment in his hand and said, "Filch and Mrs. Norris are on the fifth floor. They won't find us unless we shout... Oh, damn it, that cat's coming down!"

On the map, the name representing Mrs. Norris was moving rapidly in their direction.

Seeing this, George quickly took out his wand and pointed it at a tapestry next to him.

"His Revelio!"

The tapestry was split in two, revealing a deep, dark passageway.

"Hurry inside!" Fred urged. "We have to get out of here before that cat gets here!"

Without delay, the group quickly slipped into the secret passage.

Once George, who was last in line, went inside, the tapestry was immediately restored to its original state.

The next second, Mrs. Norris arrived.

It looked at the empty corridor, lingered nearby for a while with some confusion, and then left.
