This secret passage seems to have been provided specifically for nighttime visitors; its exit is not far from the castle, just behind some bushes near the Quidditch Pitch.

After everyone had come out, Fred and George quickly walked to the front, opened their arms, and said, "Welcome to Hogwarts at night."

"This feeling is completely different from during the day, so enjoy it."

Cedric and Kanna both seemed somewhat excited.

For them, nighttime strolls were an experience they had never had before, and while they felt a sense of novelty, they also felt an indescribable thrill.

Kyle didn't feel anything particularly special, but it was also his first time seeing Hogwarts at night, so he couldn't help but look around curiously.

Hogwarts is exceptionally quiet at night, with stars in the night sky casting soft glows, like little nightlights hanging on the castle.

It was beautiful, dreamlike, yet peaceful and serene.

The group stood there for a moment until Fred reminded them, at which point they remembered they still had important things to do and headed towards the Forbidden Forest.

On the way, they even took a sharp turn, deliberately avoiding Hagrid's cabin.

Although Fang is a bit timid, it is still a proper hunting dog with a keen sense of both hearing and smell. If you get too close, it is very likely to detect you.

It's just a little time-consuming, but it's better than being dragged back to the castle by Hagrid.

After passing the wooden house, they came to a wide expanse of woodland. The Mooncalf's lair was not hard to find; led by Kyle, they soon spotted the lush patch of Wiggentree.

Just then, the Mooncalf emerged from its lair.

They craned their long necks to look at the sky, their large heads and slender legs creating a striking contrast.

It looks like a miniature alpaca.

They're quite cute.

Under the moonlight, they slowly raised their front legs, while their two slightly thicker hind legs began to swing erratically.

"The Mooncalf's dance... this is the Mooncalf's dance!" Cedric exclaimed excitedly. "I'd only ever seen it in books before; it's nowhere near as good as the live performance!"

"Don't get excited, or we won't be able to see it if they find us," Kyle whispered a reminder.

Mooncalf are very shy and Fantastic Beasts. If they notice other people around, they will shyly retreat into their burrows.

However, Cedric is not wrong.

The live dance performance was indeed much better than the photos in the book.

That's normal, though. Newt is just a socially awkward guy who studies Magizoology; he doesn't know anything about taking pictures. Just make do with what you see.

After dancing for a while, the Mooncalf seemed to warm up, and its dance steps began to become more complex and captivating.

Moreover, with each step they took, tiny, silvery-white specks of light gradually appeared on the ground behind them.

These points of light multiplied, spreading out like a stage beneath the Mooncalf's feet.

The silvery-white "stage" and the moonlight in the sky complemented each other, elevating their dance to another level.

"So beautiful..." Kanna's eyes sparkled as she gazed at the view, completely mesmerized.

"Cough cough..."

Although it was a bit of a mood killer, Kyle thought for a moment and then whispered in her ear, "That silver stuff is their droppings."

"..."

The stars in Kanna's eyes vanished at a visible speed, and she turned her head to look at Kyle incredulously.

"It's true," Kyle said calmly. "If you don't believe me, you can read the book * Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them to Find Them*. It's written there."

Kanna: "..."

After learning that the Mooncalf was dancing on her own excrement, she could never go back.

The beautiful and complex dance before my eyes seemed to have become utterly boring.

Kanna felt a surge of rage.

She couldn't understand why Kyle was telling her all this now; couldn't he have waited until after she finished reading?!

Growing angrier by the thought, she turned around again and punched Kyle in the arm.

Fred and George, who were standing nearby, did the same. They punched Kyle in annoyance and told him to shut up when he should.

Only Cedric was somewhat better off, because he knew all of this.

Seeing that he had angered everyone, Kyle quickly raised his hands in surrender, decisively admitting his mistake, "I was wrong!"

But before he could use it, everyone was still staring intently at him, even Cedric.

There's no way around it; if you don't keep an eye on things, you'll feel out of place.

"Okay, let's put it another way," Kyle continued. "That thing is silver, Sickle is silver too. Do you know what that means?"

To put it simply, if you work hard, you can probably get about five in one night."

Fred and George gasped, forgetting all about condemning Kyle, and huddled together to plot.

Five Galleon a night, that's thirty-five a week, and that's... for a semester.

The twins were a little dizzy; they couldn't quite figure it out, but they were certain it was a huge sum.

And they'll be staying at Hogwarts for six years.

With this windfall, even if they split it equally with Kyle and the others, they could still open their own joke shop by graduation.

My dream just came true like that?

The two brothers embraced each other, tears of joy streaming down their faces, almost jumping for joy.

After that, they didn't care about anything else and just stared intently at the Mooncalf. When the number of silver light spots stopped increasing, they rushed out instantly.

The Mooncalf were terrified and ran back to their den, where Fred and George collected their droppings.

Presumably finding the pace too slow, Fred even invited Kyle and the others to come along.

Kyle and Cedric didn't move, but Kanna hesitated, though Kyle pulled her back.

"Um, aren't you going to tell them the truth?" The honest Cedric, somewhat conflicted.

Mooncalf droppings are indeed valuable, but they have to be fresh. And Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, they can't be sold off just like that; they require a stable sales channel and customers.

Fred and George couldn't even get out of Hogwarts, let alone anything else. Cedric couldn't imagine who they could sell the Mooncalf dung they collected to.

Furthermore, and more importantly... this is Hogwarts.

Both Hagrid's pumpkin patch and Professor Sprout's greenhouse require a lot of fertilizer.

These fertilizers certainly weren't bought from outside, were they?

"What truth? I don't understand what you mean," Kyle said innocently. "What I just said was the truth; that thing is indeed very expensive."

Cedric pursed his lips and glanced at the twins with a hint of sympathy.

After a while, Kyle suddenly felt a little sleepy. He went up to the twins who were still happily scooping poop, and despite their strong objections, he and Cedric forcibly dragged them out of the Forbidden Forest.
