Background / History

Qian Renxue is a descendant of the Qian family and the inheritor of the Angel God position. She regards the family creed—defending the continent's peace and protecting its people—as a personal duty, and considers Tang San's godhood and ambitions an immediate threat to Martial Soul Hall and the continent. 1 2

While travelling toward Jialing Pass, her Angel divine power suddenly becomes uncontrollable near the forbidden Temple Back Mountain, causing her to fall. There she encounters Qian Ye, whose resemblance to both her and the Angel Statue leads her to suspect that he is an ancient Qian-family predecessor. 1

When the Angel Holy Sword rejects her divine sense and instead eagerly responds to Qian Ye, she seeks his help. Qian Ye initially refuses to teach her, insisting that sword mastery has no shortcuts; after hearing her resolve to uphold the Qian family’s creed, he accepts her formal apprenticeship and gives her a seemingly worthless broken sword. 2

Appearance

Qian Renxue is portrayed as a tall, sacred-looking woman with long golden hair and golden eyes. As the Angel God, she commonly wears magnificent golden divine armor and manifests six golden wings. 1 6

  • Golden divine armor or a golden palace gown, depending on the occasion. 1 54
  • Six golden wings, whose light dims when her Angel power loses control. 1
  • Golden eyes and long golden hair. 3 6
  • Uses a simpler golden outfit during sword practice. 12

Personality

Qian Renxue is duty-driven, resolute, and willing to humble herself for Martial Soul Hall’s survival. Despite being a god, she kneels to request Qian Ye’s instruction when she believes it is the only way to oppose Tang San and protect the continent. 2

Her relationship with Qian Ye makes her increasingly disciplined and reverent. She trains through repetitive basic sword swings, eagerly seeks feedback on her progress, and gradually accepts that personal cultivation matters more than dependence on a God Position or divine artifacts. 12 17 44 47

She remains composed under pressure, including when facing Tang San’s superior divine rank and super-divine Sea God Trident. However, she is deeply shaken by revelations concerning the First Generation Angel God, Qian Ye’s true identity, and the real status of the weapons entrusted to her. 32 44 56

Qian Renxue also begins questioning the conventional human view of soul beasts as resources after witnessing the Ice Empress as an intelligent being and learning that Tang San intends to seize her rewards. 73
