Background

Gu Yuena is the Silver Dragon King and the sovereign of the soul beasts, residing at the Lake of Life in the Star Dou Great Forest. She slept for ten thousand years before recently awakening. Di Tian, Zi Ji, and the other Great Beasts serve under her authority. 12 15

She remembers the era in which humanity was weak and the First Generation Angel God rose to prominence. In her prime, she considered his sword formidable enough that even she would avoid its edge. She knows that he disappeared at the height of his power, though not his ultimate fate. 43

After absorbing a nine-colored reward, Gu Yuena faces Tang San and the Shrek Six Devils at the Lake of Life. She traps Tang San, dismisses his status as a human god, and easily defeats Dai Mubai, Zhu Zhuqing, and Ma Hongjun when they attempt to intervene. 36

Qian Ye appears before she can finish dealing with Tang San's group. Their reunion reveals Gu Yuena's long-suppressed affection for him, stunning the Great Beasts. Tang San ultimately escapes using the awakened power of the Asura Magic Sword. 37 38
