Background / History

Qian Ye traveled the continent in a remote age to temper his sword heart. During that period, he befriended Lan, the Primordial Blue Silver Emperor, a sentient Blue Silver Grass who later entrusted his descendants to Qian Ye before leaving to seek the Dao. Qian Ye later entered seclusion; one dream lasted a thousand years, and Lan had fallen by the time he awakened. 69 70 71

He was also connected to the Dragon God and the Water and Fire Dragon Kings, who once listened to the Dao beneath him. After encountering the Dragon Kings' fading remnant souls at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, he offered them submission and restored their bodies. 20 22 23

Qian Ye is identified through the Golden List as the First Generation Angel God. He discarded his God Position because it restricted his sword, then forged the Supreme Broken Sword from common iron while pursuing a path that transcends divine positions and leads directly to the Great Dao. 44 49 53

After completing ten thousand years of cultivation, he appears at the Angel Temple's back mountain, where Qian Renxue recognizes his connection to the Qian family and becomes his disciple. 1 2
