Nereus gave Roger the final Road Poneglyph rubbing, then later recruited Roger’s soul to help fight the Holy Knights after Roger’s execution ignited the Great Pirate Era. Nereus returned to Fish-Man Island with Chloe and Brook, defeated Bullet and hired him, while the growing pirate rush brought new dangers to Sabaody.

• Wobigon warned that the sea would soon fall into turmoil as Arlong began Neptune Army training and Chloe continued her demanding exercises.
• Roger met Nereus at Ryugu Palace, received a prepared Road Poneglyph rubbing, and set out with his crew for the final voyage.
• After Roger reached Laugh Tale and became known as Pirate King, he disbanded his crew, while Nanamo took over Babel’s post at Sabaody and Rayleigh and Shakky reopened their bar.
• Nereus, Amphitrite, and Chloe traveled to Loguetown, where Roger declared that his treasure could be claimed at Laugh Tale before his execution.
• In the crimson realm, Nereus revealed that Roger had become undead and asked him to help fight the Holy Knights in return for eventually freeing his soul.
• Roger’s final words launched the Great Pirate Era, and Nereus’s group found Sandai Kitetsu, discovered Chloe could command Sea Kings, and reunited Brook with Laboon at Twin Capes.
• Nereus defeated Bullet with a single attack, then offered him annual challenges and guidance in exchange for working as a mercenary for the Ryugu Kingdom.
• Shakky captured pirates at her bar and turned them in through Nanamo’s office as Sabaody prepared for a surge of newcomers, while a ship surfaced with its coating shattered and crew dead.

Nereus protected Fish-Man Island’s interests, helped Tom advance the Sea Train, and secretly rescued Ohara’s scholars before the island was destroyed. Meanwhile, Kuma and Nereus saved Ginny from CP0, and Mihawk traveled to Fish-Man Island while considering the Shichibukai invitation.

• Sebastian and Wobigon visited Wano, where Kaido showed Sebastian a Road Poneglyph and later drove Moria from the country, leaving Moria to escape with Ryuma’s corpse and Shusui.
• Kaido told Yamato about Nereus, and Yamato declared she wanted to be like him, prompting Kaido to attack and chase her around Onigashima.
• The World Government established the Shichibukai system despite Marine objections, while Nereus discovered Chloe could hear and command the Sea Kings.
• Tom’s trial ended with a light punishment, and Nereus approved Tom’s Sea Train project with Fish-Man Island providing technical guidance and support.
• Nereus secretly helped evacuate Ohara’s scholars during the Buster Call, then offered the surviving scholars to Dragon as educated workers for the Freedom Fighters.
• Kuma and Nereus intervened when CP0 agents used emotion-altering powder and took Ginny hostage, and Nereus gave Ginny Vampire abilities before killing Jiaoxing.
• Nereus agreed to let Chloe accompany Nanamo to Dressrosa, while Mihawk traveled toward Fish-Man Island and considered accepting the Shichibukai invitation to avoid Marine interference.

Nereus and his allies trained Yamato, staged Nanamo’s concert, and rescued Hancock and other captives from slavers. They later intervened in Flevance’s Amber Lead crisis, where the medicine worked but the king’s attempt to restart mining led to revolution and evacuation.

• Nanamo and Chloe met Scarlet in Dressrosa, and Nanamo helped her realize that Kyros’s victims had been gang leaders before Kyros defeated Chloe and trained harder.
• Kaido seized control of Wano by killing Orochi and blaming him for the country’s troubles, then brought Yamato to Nereus, who agreed to train her.
• Yamato trained with Nereus’s students and declared that she wanted to free enslaved islands and defeat the Celestial Dragons, while Nanamo’s concert succeeded and Tesoro earned a chance to run the Ryugu Kingdom’s insurance business.
• Gloriosa asked Nereus to find Hancock, and Fish-Man Island’s forces tracked down and dismantled a slavers’ submarine, rescuing Hancock, her sisters, and other captives.
• Tiger returned Koala to her village, while Harald visited Fish-Man Island and Kaido formed an alliance with Hanafza.
• Nereus organized medicine for Flevance after identifying Amber Lead Syndrome as noncontagious, and Otohime, Jinbe, Judge, and their teams helped calm the blockade and treat the sick.
• After Flevance’s king ordered the Amber Lead industry restarted, Ivankov and the Revolutionary Army led a revolution and evacuated the people as the royal family died.
• Nereus reviewed the aid reports as Nanamo considered selling deep-sea minerals, while Amphitrite, Chloe, and Yamato sailed toward Alabasta.

Chloe and Yamato clashed with Crocodile before traveling to Sky Island, while Kuma and his companions defeated Moria and Luna accepted a Shichibukai invitation. Arlong established Ryugu Park in Cocoyasi and began training Nami, as alliances and a race for the Op-Op Fruit set up the next conflict.

• Chloe and Yamato fought Crocodile over the Dance Powder, and Amphitrite intervened, healed Chloe, and helped them leave Nanohana.
• Chloe took Yamato to Sky Island, where Yamato sparred with the Shandia before Chloe pushed her into a parachute jump back toward the sea.
• Kuma, Ginny, and Luna defeated Moria on Thriller Bark, freed the stolen shadows, and received a Shichibukai invitation for Luna.
• Shanks told Nereus that Harald had resisted Imu’s plan and that Loki had killed Harald at his request, then Chloe shared what she had heard about severing Sea Contracts.
• Loki formed a secret alliance with Nereus, while Arlong led Jack and his crew to Cocoyasi under a fifty-year lease and announced plans for Ryugu Park.
• Arlong drove off Nezumi’s Marines, protected Cocoyasi, and began training Nami as a navigator while the park took shape.
• Buggy’s crew posed as circus performers in Cocoyasi to avoid Arlong, while Arlong sent Ryugu Kingdom his first work report.
• Kuma and Ginny set out to seize the Op-Op Fruit before the World Government could obtain it, as Doflamingo planned for Corazon to eat it.
