Background

Tang San was swept into Space-Time Turbulence along with the God Realm, then reappeared tens of thousands of years in the past in the Soul Hunting Forest. Retaining memories of his former life—including his time in the Tang Sect world and as a god—he recognized the moment as the period when Yu Xiaogang had been poisoned by a Mandala Snake while helping him obtain his first soul ring. Tang San immediately chose to save his teacher. 14

His rebirth gave him a chance to revise his past decisions. He considered seeking the godhoods of both the Goddess of Life and God of Destruction, while recognizing that the poisonous first ring he had once chosen for Blue Silver Grass was an imperfect foundation for that plan. 15

Tang San’s rebirth also drew the attention of the God of Destruction and God of Asura.
