After the War of Fallen Emperors shattered the Immortal Realm into the Thirty-Three Heavens, the Heavenly Emperor established a court that ruled across them. He opened the Heavenly River Ancient Road to connect the separated heavens and founded thirty-three heavenly palaces to bind their fortunes to the Heavenly Court. His larger ambition—to stitch the heavens back together—remained unfulfilled 860 1052.
The Heavenly Court later collapsed, and he vanished. Ji Hong, once one of his Immortal Emperors, seized court treasures and founded the Great Evolution Immortal Court. The Heavenly Emperor's fate remains disputed: the Heavenly Secrets Saintess believes he lives, while an imprint he left behind says it has no knowledge of what happened to his true self 857 888 1058.
