Wu Zhangkong was once an Inner Court student of Shrek Academy, but did not graduate. A decade away from cultivation and unresolved grief connected to Long Bing left lasting emotional wounds that repeatedly disrupted her meditation 25 117 404.

She became the instructor of Eastsea Academy’s Class Five, where she imposed severe physical training and evaluated students according to battlefield survival rather than classroom conventions. She singled out Tang Wulin, Xie Xie, and Gu Yue for nightly special training and personally fought them to expose their individual weaknesses 12 16 17.

After accompanying her students to Shrek Academy, she continued to guide their growth while remaining particularly invested in Xie Xie. His critical injury during the Hailu Academy battle drove her to lose control and attack referee Zhang Zhenpeng with her Sky Ice Battle Armor 132.
