Background / History

Shui Bing'er and her younger sister, Shui Yue'er, encountered Jiang Liang in the Extreme North after being attacked by Ice Wolves. Jiang Liang drove the wolves away and escorted the sisters to their exhausted aunt, Shui Lingyun, earning Shui Bing'er's gratitude and trust. 15 16 17

At the time, Shui Bing'er had reached level 20 and was seeking a second spirit ring. Witnessing Jiang Liang's ten-thousand-year first ring and his speed-focused Shadow Ice Strike caused her to reevaluate the pure Control-type route arranged for her. Wanting enough offensive power to protect Shui Yue'er, she chose a combined Power Attack–Control path with Jiang Liang's support and Shui Lingyun's approval. 16 21

She personally killed a Frost Feather Ice Falcon and absorbed its spirit ring, advancing to level 21. Her resulting Frost Feather Ice Blade was tested in a spar against Jiang Liang, though his superior speed and rings let him evade and deflect her attacks. Before Jiang Liang left for Heaven Dou City, the two promised to reunite at Skywater Academy six years later. 21 22
