Background / History

Shigeo attended the Ninja Academy alongside Uchiha Akatsuki. He initially targeted Akatsuki and Uchiha Aoi with insults, then led a group assault against them. Akatsuki defeated Shigeo and his companions, leaving Shigeo unconscious after a punch to the face. 7 8

Rather than abandon the feud, Shigeo repeatedly challenged Akatsuki over the following half-year. His attempt at a formal duel used Grass Style techniques to restrain and poison his opponent, but Akatsuki defeated him with a Substitution Technique and close-quarters restraint. 15
