As for Son Goku, under the guidance of Luo Tian, he was also in the midst of perceiving the essence of nature.
It could only be said that he had achieved a modicum of success.
However, given how the current situation was developing, Luo Tian felt that once Vegeta arrived...
Son Goku would likely be beaten to death.
"Luo Tian, I find this so difficult... It's already been six months, and it feels like my strength hasn't improved much at all," Son Goku said with a bitter smile.
It was perfectly normal for Son Goku to feel this way.
After all, at his current level, mastering true Ultra Instinct was still an incredibly difficult task.
"It seems I've been rushing things," Luo Tian mused. "Very well, for the remaining few months, you should go train with King Kai."
"King Kai? Who is that?" Son Goku blinked in confusion.
"Let's go." Luo Tian didn't waste any more breath; he immediately transformed into a brilliant streak of light with Son Goku in tow, plunging directly into the void and vanishing in a flash.
Before Son Goku could even react, he found himself appearing in an entirely different world.
"Th-this..." Son Goku was stunned.
This speed was simply too fast!
What was going on?
And where exactly was this place?
"This is the Underworld, where everyone reports after they die," Luo Tian explained. "Look, that grand hall below is the palace of King Yemma."
"King Yemma?" Son Goku was speechless. "Am I dead?"
"If you want to die, I can kill you right now," Luo Tian chuckled, accelerating his flight.
Soon, Luo Tian brought Son Goku to the space above King Kai's Planet.
"Th-this... where is this now?" Son Goku couldn't keep up with the pace.
"This is King Kai's Planet," Luo Tian smiled. "Go on, find him and train hard... but remember, don't neglect your Ultra Instinct."
"Right, I understand," Son Goku nodded.
"By the way, it won't be convenient for me to intervene once those two Saiyans arrive, so don't expect me to defeat them for you, even though I could wipe them out easily," Luo Tian added.
Son Goku nodded solemnly.
"Go." With that, Luo Tian kicked Son Goku, sending him plummeting downward.
"Bang!"
Son Goku slammed heavily into the surface of King Kai's Planet.
"Ouch... what's wrong with this ground? My body feels so heavy!" Son Goku gritted his teeth, exerting all his strength to finally stand up. "How strange, it feels like some kind of force is pinning me down."
Just then, a monkey walked over from the distance.
"Ah... are you King Kai?" Son Goku was slightly taken aback. "It must be you; one shouldn't judge a book by its cover."
Who could have known that Luo Tian was so powerful?
It seemed that apart from me and Bulma, Krillin and the others didn't know, right?
Besides, Master Korin is just a cat, isn't he?
"Hello, I am Son Goku, and I have come to seek your tutelage," Son Goku quickly bowed.
"Whoosh!"
The monkey simply raised its arms, swaying its body from side to side, pacing back and forth in a wobbly fashion.
"Is this how it starts? Is this movement all I need to do, Lord King Kai?" Son Goku looked utterly bewildered.
Fine!
This planet seems quite strange, so I'll just give it a try.
Son Goku began to learn from Bubbles the monkey.
He raised his hands and began to sway back and forth across the planet just like the monkey.
"This technique is truly exhausting. What is going on with this planet, Lord King Kai? My body feels incredibly heavy," Son Goku couldn't help but ask. "Also, Lord King Kai, do you know about Ultra Instinct?"
Bubbles the monkey didn't make a sound, continuing to march forward with a rhythmic grunt.
Son Goku panted heavily, silently following behind.
Is this the Kaioken?
I feel like I should go back and continue perceiving the earth and nature.
This Kaioken is just too baffling.
"Hey, what are you doing?"
Just then, Son Goku suddenly heard a voice coming from the side.
Son Goku fixed his gaze and was shocked to discover a slightly plump figure.
This person appeared to be wearing a pair of sunglasses, had blue skin, and two antenna-like feelers growing from his head.
"You... who are you?" Son Goku was stunned.
"Hehehe... I... am Dong-Dong..." the Kai said with a laugh.
"You're Dong-Dong?" Son Goku scratched his head. "Aren't you Lord Kai?"
Kai: "..."
You're the one who's Dong-Dong!
This kid isn't likable at all.
"Idiot, I am the Kai!" the Kai barked irritably.
"Ah? Then who is he?" Son Goku pointed at the chimpanzee to the side.
"He is my pet, Bubbles," the Kai said.
"Hahaha, so that's how it is. I was just thinking something felt a bit off," Son Goku laughed.
"You're the one who's off. Don't you think my joke just now was very funny?" the Kai said with a dark expression.
"A joke? That 'Dong-Dong' thing?" Son Goku was slightly taken aback.
The Kai didn't want to talk anymore.
Why do I feel like I'm being teased by him?
Is this kid here to wreck the place?
Could he have been sent by that guy, East Kai?
"I'll give you one last chance! Let me tell another joke and see," the Kai said, his face still dark.
Son Goku looked completely bewildered.
"Hello... hello? What? Is no one answering the phone?" the Kai muttered to himself, then burst into belly-aching laughter.
Hahaha, that's so funny.
I've never heard such a funny joke before.
"What? What on earth are you talking about?" Son Goku looked at the Kai as if he were an idiot.
Luo Tian, hurry up and take me back.
I don't want to train with him anymore.
Kai: "..."
This kid must be a clown sent by a monkey.
"Why did you come here?" the Kai asked with a cold face.
It's impossible to communicate with this kid.
"I heard about you from a friend, so I wanted to ask Lord Kai to teach me how to train," Son Goku said.
"You should just go back. You didn't even laugh after hearing such a funny joke, which means your personality isn't very good. I don't like people like that," the Kai said crossly.
"Hahaha, that was truly interesting! As expected of Lord Kai, that's the first time I've ever heard such a funny joke," Son Goku reacted quickly, immediately clutching his stomach and laughing.
"You didn't just realize it now, did you?" the Kai chuckled dryly.
"Can you teach me how to train?" Son Goku asked hurriedly.
"Hehehe, of course that's no problem, but you need to pass a test first," the Kai smiled. "You must tell a joke and make me, a genius of jokes, laugh at your joke."
"Ah?" Son Goku was speechless.
Make me tell a joke?
This is simply too difficult.
Why do I suddenly feel that training with Luo Tian was so blissful?
"Hehehe, how about it? If it's not a high-level joke, I won't laugh," the Kai said with a smile. "If you can't do it, then hurry back. Go back to where you came from."
