"Bang!"
The energy blast changed direction instantly, flying off to the side.
"Boom!"
A massive explosion erupted on the distant ground.
Son Gohan's face turned pale, his heart sinking into despair.
"I didn't expect this little brat to have such power; it actually numbed my hand," Nappa grinned.
"His combat power dropped suddenly. It seems he exhausted all his energy just now," Vegeta said, glancing at the combat power reading on his Scouter.
"I'm sorry, Uncle Piccolo. I didn't hit the enemy, and now I don't even have the strength to run," Son Gohan turned his head and gave Piccolo a weak, foolish smile.
"Thud!"
Son Gohan collapsed to his knees, having lost all will to fight.
"Damn it! You bastard!" Krillin gritted his teeth.
But Krillin was also severely injured and could no longer even crawl.
"Hahaha, Kakarot's son, prepare to die!" Nappa laughed loudly, raising his foot to stomp Son Gohan to death.
Krillin couldn't bear to watch any longer.
"Hey, is even Gohan going to die?" Bulma didn't dare look either. "He's only five years old."
"He won't die. Goku has already arrived," Luo Tian replied.
"Really? Has Goku arrived?" Bulma immediately began searching for Son Goku's figure.
"Thud!"
Nappa brought his foot down hard, aiming to crush Son Gohan.
The next moment, however, Nappa realized he had stepped onto nothing but the ground.
The earth cracked under the impact.
What was going on?
Where was the boy?
Vegeta was also astonished.
That guy was incredibly fast.
Nappa looked again, only to discover, to his shock, that the little brat Son Gohan had somehow ended up on a golden cloud.
What was that thing?
"Huh? Is that the Flying Nimbus?" Son Gohan reacted immediately.
"Up there!" Vegeta looked up at the sky at once.
High above, Son Goku hovered in the air, looking down at Nappa and Vegeta.
"Whoosh!"
Son Goku descended from the sky.
"Hmph, you finally showed up," a smile appeared on Vegeta's face.
"Goku, you finally made it... we've been waiting for you for so long," Krillin said, his voice choked with emotion.
"Ah... Dad..." Son Gohan was also filled with excitement.
"Kakarot, you finally appeared," Vegeta chuckled. "Wouldn't it have been better to just stay hidden? Why come here to throw your life away?"
Son Goku didn't speak; he walked step by step toward Piccolo.
Nappa: "..."
What was he doing?
"Piccolo..." Son Goku reached out to check Piccolo's body, only to find it had already gone cold.
"Uncle Piccolo died protecting me," Son Gohan said.
Son Goku: "..."
Son Goku scanned his surroundings and discovered the fallen bodies of Tien Shinhan and Yamcha.
Son Goku clenched his fists, a look of fury appearing on his face.
"Hehehe, all your idiot friends are dead. Surprised, aren't you? Oh, and there was another kid who was smashed to pieces," Nappa laughed, gloating. "But don't be sad, because you'll be joining them in the next world soon enough. Just like Vegeta said, wouldn't it have been better to stay hidden? Why come here and seek your own death?"
"Is that so? And Chiaotzu too..." Son Goku's expression grew increasingly grim.
"Hehehe," Nappa grinned from ear to ear.
"Even... Kami..." Son Goku's face was etched with rage.
"Beep, beep..."
Vegeta watched silently.
Hmm, this guy's combat power is constantly rising.
"Damn it... Luo Tian told me that as long as I can suppress my feelings of anger, I can take a step closer to Ultra Instinct..." Son Goku gritted his teeth, "But, wanting to control it... it's too hard! Luo Tian, I'm sorry, please allow me to be willful just this once."
"Luo Tian? What is Goku talking about?" Bulma was stunned, turning her head to look at Luo Tian.
"I told him before that to master true Ultra Instinct, one needs to suppress their own feelings of anger," Luo Tian explained, "Actually, it's not so much suppression as it is letting go. In other words, don't let those emotions affect your judgment of things."
"I don't get it..." Bulma shook her head, "But I feel like what you're saying is really difficult."
"Yeah, if it were that easy to do, it wouldn't be Ultra Instinct," Luo Tian smiled.
"So... Goku can't do it yet?" Bulma pondered.
"That's right," Luo Tian nodded.
At the battle site.
Son Goku walked toward Nappa.
"What? Do you want to come forward and throw your life away? Then I'll grant your wish," Nappa snorted coldly, swinging a fist toward Son Goku.
"Swish!"
However, with just a flicker of his figure, Son Goku vanished instantly.
Immediately after, Son Goku appeared beside Son Gohan.
"What? How did this guy get over there?" Nappa was astonished.
"Gohan, I'm sorry, I'm late. It really wasn't easy for you two to hold out," Son Goku said, "This is a Senzu Bean; you two eat half each."
"Senzu Bean? Did you get that from Master Korin?" Krillin asked.
"This is the last one," Son Goku said.
Krillin: "..."
"Goku, you should eat it instead," Krillin said.
"It's fine, I've already eaten one," Son Goku smiled.
"No, no, keep it just in case. It won't do much good for us to eat it," Krillin said with a bitter smile.
"Don't worry, if you don't eat it, I'm just going to throw it away," Son Goku replied, "Besides, don't we still have Luo Tian?"
"Luo Tian... he didn't come..." Krillin wiped away sweat, "I don't think he's going to come..."
"Alright, hurry up and eat it. Gohan, you eat too," Son Goku said, splitting the Senzu Bean in two and giving them to Krillin and Son Gohan to eat.
The two of them stood up quickly.
Vegeta: "..."
Nappa: "..."
"Hey, Vegeta, what did he feed them? Those two guys' injuries seem to have almost fully recovered," Nappa asked, stunned.
"This planet is truly full of surprises," Vegeta smiled, "That kind of bean can actually heal their wounds and even restore their stamina. I saw it; he split the bean in two. If it were a whole bean, it might have been able to heal them completely."
"There's such a magical thing?" Nappa was also amazed.
"But it's a pity, it seems that was the last one," Vegeta shook his head.
"If we could find more of those beans... we wouldn't even need that guy called Luo Tian," Nappa pondered.
"That's true," Vegeta nodded.
