Vegeta swept his hand forward and hurled the energy ball he had formed up into the sky.

"What was that?" Son Goku asked, confused.

"Shine, my moon!" Vegeta shouted.

"Pop!"

Suddenly, a full moon appeared in the sky.

"What are you doing? That thing..." Son Goku was at a loss for words.

"You should regret not having a tail, Kakarot." Vegeta said, his eyes fixed on the Artificial Moon overhead.

Son Goku seemed to realize what was happening. His expression changed again and again.

"Roar..."

The next moment, black fur began sprouting across Vegeta's face. His mouth jutted forward, revealing sharp fangs, and his pupils turned crimson.

"Grrr..."

Vegeta threw his head back and roared, pounding his chest with both fists.

Son Goku was stunned.

"Hahaha! What do you think, Kakarot? You're finished now, aren't you?" Vegeta laughed loudly.

Son Goku was completely dumbfounded.

"This is bad..." Son Goku had a terrible feeling.

"Great Ape... A Great Ape monster?" When Son Goku saw Vegeta's enormous form, something suddenly clicked. Figures from his past surfaced in his mind.

"Goku, Great Ape monsters appear on nights with a full moon. Whatever you do, don't go outside. It's safest to sleep at home." Grandpa Gohan had told him.

"I made your tail disappear, and it won't grow back again after today. I hoped it wouldn't cause you so much trouble, and I also hoped the moon would return to Earth." Kami had said.

Son Goku gritted his teeth, activated Kaioken once more, and shot into the sky.

"Bang!"

Vegeta's tail lashed across Son Goku like a whip, striking him hard.

Son Goku tumbled through the air several times and nearly crashed to the ground.

"Hahaha! How's that, Kakarot? You can't beat me." Vegeta laughed wildly.

"Damn it! He's so agile. I don't even have time to gather energy for a Spirit Bomb." Son Goku looked troubled. "I doubt fivefold Kaioken will do any good against him."

Vegeta charged at him again, moving at blinding speed.

"Ultra Instinct!" Son Goku gritted his teeth and quickly activated Ultra Instinct.

"Whoosh!"

Son Goku immediately dodged Vegeta's attack.

"That brat! He's pretty quick." Vegeta was a little surprised. "But no matter how fast you are, you're nowhere near as fast as I am in my Great Ape Transformation."

"Bang!"

Vegeta reached out and tried to grab Son Goku.

"Damn it! I haven't mastered Ultra Instinct, and my attacks barely affect him!" Son Goku gritted his teeth. "I can't keep this up, or he'll beat me sooner or later!"

Vegeta swatted him away like a fly, sending him crashing into the mountain.

Son Goku tumbled down the mountainside.

Vegeta brought his enormous foot down.

There was a sharp snap as Son Goku's left leg was crushed in a compound fracture.

"Oops, sorry! I'm so sorry—I crushed your leg." Vegeta laughed loudly.

"Ah... Ah..." Son Goku cried out in pain.

"Now I'll pierce your heart." Vegeta extended a finger and aimed it at Son Goku's chest. "You should be proud to die at the hands of an elite warrior like me."

"Damn you, low-class warrior! You dare scar my face!" Vegeta endured the pain in his eye and grabbed Son Goku in his huge hand. "I'll squeeze you into meat paste and make buns to feed the dogs."
