Natsuki was originally an ordinary high-school student whose exceptional aptitude as a Witch was discovered by the Artificial Island Management Corporation. Under the pretext of serving a greater cause, she was coerced into a demon contract and made warden of the Prison Barrier, a dimensional prison for dangerous Magecraft criminals.
