Background / History

Tang Hao was the gifted young master of the Clear Sky Sect. While travelling with his elder brother, Tang Xiao, he met Ah Yin, a hundred-thousand-year soul beast in human form. Both brothers loved her, but Ah Yin chose Tang Hao; Tang Xiao returned to the sect while Tang Hao continued travelling with her. 62

After learning Ah Yin’s true identity, Tang Hao secretly coveted her hundred-thousand-year spirit ring and soul bone. The Sky Screen later revealed that he deliberately led her toward Qian Xunji’s territory under the pretense of returning to the Clear Sky Sect, provoking Martial Soul Hall’s pursuit. Ah Yin sacrificed herself to save Tang Hao and their infant child, allowing Tang Hao to become a Title Douluo. 62

Tang Hao departed with Tang San and Ah Yin’s seed, then lived in seclusion in Holy Soul Village as a blacksmith. He concealed the seed in a dark, barren cave, ostensibly to keep it hidden from Martial Soul Hall. 44 62

Retribution by the Four Sects

After Ye Mu has Tang Hao expelled from Moonlight Pavilion, Titan, Niu Gao, Bai He, and Yang Wudi surround him. Titan destroys his Bamboo Shoot Hammer, Niu Gao shatters his kidney, and Yang Wudi severs his legs and extracts his spirit bones. 174 175

The Four Sects attempt to finish him, but several Clear Sky Sect elders intervene to protect Tang Hao. Their intervention further discredits the sect in the eyes of the public. 176

Punishment of the Clear Sky Sect

Tang Hao remains sheltered by the Clear Sky Sect despite its awareness of his crimes. After he makes disrespectful remarks about Ye Mu and his companions, Ye Mu strikes him twice with lightning and punishes the sect by destroying its mountain gate. 181

Recovery in the Star Dou Great Forest
