Regional Operations

Linhai and the Seven Absolutes Pavilion

The Six Doors became involved in uncovering the Seven Absolutes Pavilion's connection to the Seven Departments Dark Guards and the historic kidnapping of more than ten thousand children. 118

Its Linhai branch was compromised by Thousand Household Commander Wang Mingxiu, a surviving descendant of the Mu family. Wang colluded with Madam Liu and the Seven Absolutes Pavilion while using his position within the Six Doors to further his revenge. 119 120

The organization also suffered major losses during the Grand Manager's operation: assassins infiltrated its defenses, kidnapped Eastern Border Teacher, and killed four Night Division Commanders. 117

Cang Province and Green Leaf Hall

The Six Doors spent years investigating Green Leaf Hall, but struggled because the organization had no fixed headquarters and operated through isolated, single-line contacts. 128 130

During the pursuit of Shangguan Shang, the Six Doors and local officials arrived to take custody after Gu Mo captured him. 129 The investigation eventually exposed Old Madam Lin as Green Leaf Hall's master, triggering a Six Doors investigation of the Lin family and destabilizing the Cangzhou Jianghu. 123

Mobei integration

Mobei's pre-existing Six Doors offices were largely nominal: they were controlled by local magnates, lacked influence over sects and demonic martial artists, and were neglected by provincial headquarters. 171

Zhuo Qingfeng was appointed Inspector to integrate the region into a new prefectural-level Six Doors yamen. The branch answers directly to the Six Doors headquarters of Qing, Hong, and Yun Provinces rather than local county or prefectural governments. 171

Its stated challenges were:

1. Resistance from local magnates and martial sects.
2. Mobei's vast, difficult terrain.
3. The concentration of powerful and openly defiant Demonic Path masters. 171

To establish authority, the Mobei Six Doors pursued high-profile captures such as Old Impermanence Ghost and the Dragon Tiger Twins. It compelled the Tongshan Sect to accept review treaties, invited aggrieved sects to observe Old Impermanence Ghost's trial, and used these actions to draw other forces into Changling County. 164

During the Zombie Skill crisis, Zhuo Qingfeng also intervened to prevent sects from indiscriminately massacring Peach Blossom Mountain Manor residents in retaliation against Ke Wenshui. 158
