Background and History

Uchiha Madara helped found the village, but the first Hokage position went to Hashirama Senju. Madara later separated himself from the clan, saying its members had betrayed him 11 233 234.
The Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju, established the Konoha Military Police Force with the Uchiha in its principal posts. It gave the clan authority over public order while also allowing the village leadership to monitor it. Over time, the Uchiha were pushed away from Konoha’s central power structure; Danzō Shimura and Root intensified the hostility toward them 2 8 87 237.
