West of Iowa, the attacking Beastmen forces surged like a tidal sea. A passage three to four meters wide split open down the center of their ranks as the White Wolf Retainers walked from the rear toward the front, their bodies expanding with every step.
The five Retainers in the Beastmen vanguard had already lost the gods' gaze and power. Meanwhile, White Wolf Xivifu, Olmert the tusk-toothed beast, Zhuxi the chief of the Forest Cat Tribe, Tata the chief of the Scorch Wolf Tribe, and another rhinoceros chief gradually advanced to the front, each inheriting the Beast God's gaze summoned by one of the previous five Beastmen.
