Naruto arrived at the Hyuga compound with Hyuga Kinta, only to spot several outsiders whose headbands identified them as shinobi from Kumogakure.

After everyone exchanged greetings, the Third Hokage spoke: "I have already had Ibiki conduct a thorough interrogation. That man was a Jonin from Kumogakure, and his infiltration of the Hyuga compound was most likely an attempt to steal the White Eye."
