When Naruto found Hinata, she was with Sakura, Tenten, and Ino, apparently talking about something. Naruto walked over and said, "I'm not interrupting, am I?"
Ino smiled. "You're here for Hinata, aren't you, Naruto? Hehe... We won't interrupt your alone time. It's time for us third wheels to leave. Take good care of Hinata."
Hinata's face flushed bright red with embarrassment. "Ino!" she protested shyly.
Sakura smiled beside her. "Oh, you're blushing! Everyone knows about you two. Go on, don't keep Naruto waiting." As she spoke, she gave Hinata a little push.
That only made Hinata more embarrassed. "Even you, Sakura..."
Tenten smiled. "All right, go on. This is our last night together. After tomorrow, we might not see each other for another two years."
Hearing Tenten's words, Hinata froze. That's right. Two whole years.
At that thought, Hinata walked toward Naruto without any further hesitation. She was still very shy, but her steps were firm.
The three girls watched Hinata approach Naruto, envy showing in their eyes. Sakura and Ino were also hoping Sasuke would come.
Not long after Naruto and Hinata left, Sasuke arrived. Sakura and Ino were beside themselves with excitement when they saw him. Both rushed over and hugged him tightly, as though afraid he would disappear again the next second.
Sakura looked at Sasuke and asked, "Sasuke, is it really you? I'm not dreaming, am I?"
Seeing how vulnerable they looked, Sasuke felt a surge of guilt. After all, he had spent far too little time with them. "I'm sorry, Sakura, Ino," he said apologetically. "I've put you through so much."
Ino smiled. "What are you saying, Sasuke? You're the man I chose. A man should put his ambitions and strength first. Don't worry. No matter what happens, Sakura and I will wait for you.
