The instant Sakura saw the Gauntlets, she felt a sudden sense of familiarity. She was certain this was her first time seeing them, though. Why did they feel so familiar? And what the hell was that aura?
Sakura reached out involuntarily to touch the Gauntlets. The moment her fingers made contact, she felt a suction force, and then it seemed as though she had been pulled inside.
Looking at the gray haze around her, Sakura asked in confusion, "Where am I? How did I get here? Wasn't I at the academy? Sasuke, Naruto, where are you?"
Suddenly, Sakura spotted a red glow not far ahead. Curiosity drew her toward it to see what it was.
As Sakura approached, she discovered that the scenery around her had changed completely. Volcanoes surrounded her, all of them active and spewing lava. After walking a little farther, she saw something resembling an altar in their midst, with a "person" at its center. Well, calling him a person wasn't quite right. He had two horns on his head, a tail behind him, and four fangs protruding from his mouth. His face looked human, though, and he was quite handsome. Two wings extended from his back: one black and shaped like an angel's wing, the other white but shaped like a bat's. Handsome as he was, everything about him felt dangerous.
Sakura approached the altar in confusion. Suddenly, the man raised his head and laughed. "Heh, at last, my wait is over. It took quite some time, but my wait is finally over! Hahaha! Did you think trapping me in a tiny stone would leave me helpless? Hahaha... The Heavenly Dao truly is unpredictable. My chance has come! Hahaha..."
The man suddenly burst into laughter and rattled off a string of things Sakura couldn't understand.
