When Sasuke returned to Naruto, Naruto grinned. "So this is your choice, Sasuke? You're taking both of them? I never knew you were such a womanizer. Heh."
Sasuke replied coolly, "I don't need an idiot like you judging what I do."
Naruto shrugged. "Suit yourself. Just don't hurt them. It's not like anyone said you can't marry two people. As long as they're both happy and neither objects, that's fine. I can't be bothered to meddle in your business."
When Naruto looked toward the arena, he froze. Shino Aburame was fighting a Land of Rain ninja named Longtian Zhiyi, and the match looked remarkably similar to Shino's fight against Zaku in Naruto's memories of his previous life. Everything ended under Shino's control. Even when Gekko Hayate announced Shino Aburame's victory, Naruto still hadn't snapped out of his daze.
Sasuke asked curiously, "What's wrong, idiot? Did something strange happen?"
Sasuke had noticed something was off as soon as Naruto fell into a daze, but he hadn't asked about it until the match ended.
Naruto came back to his senses and replied, "Nothing. Maybe I'm overthinking things." Seeing that Naruto hadn't given him a straight answer, Sasuke didn't press him and went back to watching the matches.
Just then, Shikamaru's name appeared on the electronic board alongside someone named Chixin. Naruto grew even more puzzled. He kept feeling as though he'd forgotten something, but he couldn't remember what. Shikamaru's fight against this Land of Rain ninja named Chixin gave Naruto another sense of déjà vu, ending with Shikamaru defeating his opponent using the Shadow Imitation Technique. Naruto's feeling that he'd forgotten something grew even stronger.
It wasn't until Tenten fought Temari, and Naruto saw all of Tenten's weapons blown away by Temari's fan, that he finally realized what had been
