Naruto knew perfectly well that Princess Yukihime was no ordinary woman, but so what? Everyone had their secrets. At that thought, he smiled faintly. "Forget it. Who cares why she has demonic energy? As long as she's the princess of the Land of Fire and can help me govern the country we're about to establish, nothing else matters."
The Nine-Tails asked curiously, "Aren't you even a little curious?"
Naruto smiled faintly. "It doesn't matter. If she wants to tell us, she will. If she doesn't, being curious won't help. What am I supposed to do, force her? Forget it. What can that little bit of demonic energy do, anyway? It poses no threat to me."
After thinking it over, the Nine-Tails smiled too. "Then forget it. It won't affect anything, anyway. Who knows? She might even help us solve a few problems. So what are you planning to do next? Has that bastard Obito Uchiha sent word yet?"
Naruto merely smiled when the Nine-Tails called Obito Uchiha a bastard. After all, Obito Uchiha had once controlled the Nine-Tails. Although the Nine-Tails refused to discuss that shameful chapter of his past, he still held it against Obito Uchiha. He simply couldn't show it openly now, but cursing him in private was understandable.
Naruto shook his head. "Not yet, but I think it'll be soon. Tonight at the latest. Still, I don't know why, but I have a terrible feeling that something unexpected will happen on Obito's mission. I don't know where this feeling came from."
The Nine-Tails asked in confusion, "Really? Could your instincts be wrong? With their strength, Shikamaru and the other two intelligence specialists, Shikamaru's brains, and Obito Uchiha and Hinata Hyuga's abilities, there shouldn't be any problems. I hate to admit it, but even now, I'm not
