After leaving the Hokage's Office, Naruto saw the clone Kurama had made and said with a laugh, "Kurama, you look pretty handsome like that. Hehe."
The Nine-Tails walked over and grabbed Naruto by his clothes. "I did this for you, you little bastard, and you still dare laugh at me? I'll send you flying!"
The Nine-Tails had always been deeply hostile toward humans-hateful, even. Humans had treated him as a tool for their own selfish ends, infuriating the proud Nine-Tails. Fortunately, Naruto had helped him overcome the darkness in his heart. Still, even though he no longer hated humans, some resentment remained.
Naruto laughed. "All right, all right. This is pretty nice, too. At least now you can go anywhere openly without worrying about causing a commotion. Isn't that great? Spend the next few days looking around and getting familiar with how people live. It'll be good to relax a little, too."
The Nine-Tails said indifferently, "Whatever. I'm not that damned tanuki. He's the only one who cares about that stuff. I couldn't care less."
Just then, Itachi Uchiha came out with Shizuka Uchiha. After Naruto and Sasuke greeted them, Naruto asked, "Big Brother Itachi, before you came here, how was, uh, the plan coming along?"
Itachi nodded. "Yes, the plan went perfectly. People from the other Shinobi Villages have also entered the Azure Continent one after another. They're currently capturing cities and territory in the Land of Chaos, preparing for the Five Great Nations to reach an agreement. When that happens, they'll establish the Azure Continent's fourth empire, which will be governed by a joint council formed by the Five Great Nations."
Naruto nodded. "Yeah, I didn't expect them to agree to a proposal like that. Isn't that pretty much like the Australian Alliance from my previous life? Uh,
