Sasuke reached the Third Hokage before the Four Violet Flames Formation activated. Both the Third Hokage and Orochimaru were surprised by his sudden arrival. The Third Hokage scolded him anxiously, "Sasuke, who told you to come in here? Do you know how dangerous it is? How could you rush in so recklessly?"
Orochimaru smiled. "Sarutobi-sensei, I never expected you to be so well respected. Even someone as cold as Sasuke-kun would risk his life to save you. What a surprise. But Sasuke-kun, with your current strength, you wouldn't be a match for me even in Sage Mode. I'm curious-why did you come to save the Third Hokage?"
Sasuke said coldly, "Orochimaru, I hate you, but I know I'm no match for you yet. That doesn't mean I came up here blindly. I can't deal with you, but that doesn't mean I'm useless here. At the very least, I can deal with that boy beside you."
Orochimaru looked momentarily taken aback, then smiled. "Heh, so you came for him. But what makes you think you can handle him? He's very strong, you know. Are you sure you want to fight him?"
Sasuke sneered. "He's the reason I came up here. He's the only one who can show me how far behind that idiot I am now."
Orochimaru said appreciatively, "Sasuke-kun, you interest me more and more. How about this? Come with me. I can make you stronger. Staying in this rotten Konoha will only hold back your growth. Only I can help you grow stronger quickly. Well? Will you come with me?"
Sasuke sneered. "Come with you? What a joke. I'm Sasuke Uchiha of Konoha's prestigious Uchiha Clan. Do you think I'd follow a rogue ninja? You're too naive, Orochimaru."
The masked boy spoke up. "Enough, Orochimaru. Inviting Sasuke is your
