Early life with Tang Wulin

Na'er was encountered in Proud Arrival City when three thugs attempted to abduct her. Long Zijin recognized her as connected to the Silver Dragon King and nearly killed her before Tang Wulin intervened. Na'er and Tang Wulin subsequently introduced themselves and formed a bond of trust. 3 4

She lived with Tang Wulin's family and came to regard him as her elder brother. Na'er later admitted that Tang Wulin's Golden Dragon King bloodline had initially drawn her to wait for him, but she also remembered his efforts to support their household and buy her candy with his forging wages. 194

While Tang Wulin struggled to obtain a first Soul Spirit, Na'er considered finding a soul beast willing to sacrifice itself for him. She hesitated because helping him develop would conflict with her own future plans involving the Golden Dragon King bloodline. 24 25

Separation and divided identity

Na'er disappeared from Tang Wulin's life while crying over the silver-and-purple-eyed doll he had bought for her. When Long Zijin confronted her, her demeanor abruptly changed from grief to cold indifference, revealing the split nature of her identity. 32

She later explained that Gu Yue had awakened within the body they once shared, seized control, injured Long Zijin, and caused Na'er to separate from her. Though both are Silver Dragon Kings, Na'er insists that she is an independent person rather than Gu Yue's extension. 149 207

Conflict with Long Zijin

As the Dragon Spear Goddess, Na'er fought Long Zijin on Sea God Island after he demanded the Amethyst Pupils and repayment for the blood she had drawn with her spear. She wielded the Silver Dragon Spear against him but was badly injured when he pierced her shoulder and collarbone with the Amethyst Dragon Spear. 136 137

During the battle, Na'er refused to retaliate lethally and told Long Zijin that she held no grudge against him. Her declaration that she was “only Na'er” caused him to hesitate before Long Yeyue intervened to protect her. 137

Na'er later offered Long Zijin her Silver Dragon Spear and her share of the Amethyst Pupils in exchange for Long Yeyue's and Shrek Academy's safety. Their confrontation ended without Long Zijin devouring her; instead, they formed a temporary alliance to deceive Gu Yue. 149 150

Sea God's Fate

After Tang Wulin returned from three years away, Na'er entered the Sea God's Fate matchmaking event and chose him as her partner, intending to protect him. 189

She confessed that she had loved Tang Wulin since he protected her as a child. Tang Wulin accepted her as family but reaffirmed that she would always be his little sister, ending Na'er's hope of winning her wager with Gu Yue. 194 195
