Yuhi Kurenai

The other teammate was a burly, overweight boy from the Akimichi Clan. His name was a little ridiculous: Akimichi Pangci. It sounded like the word for panties.

Though she was already a Special Jōnin, she was still an inexperienced young woman. For a moment, she didn't know what to do.

Hearing her answer, Chiya took her hand and kissed it gently. "Then go out with me, Teacher Kurenai."

Akizuki Airi and Akimichi Pangci stared in utter shock.

Even Yuhi Kurenai, who was usually so composed, couldn't help but panic.

Her mind suddenly went blank.

It was the first time in her life anyone had confessed to her face!

And it was a kid, no less!

Though the kid was pretty good-looking and supposedly had decent talent, good grief, Yuhi Kurenai, what were you thinking?

Just as Yuhi Kurenai was losing herself in her thoughts, the system notification rang in Chiya's mind again. "Ding! Mission complete. Congratulations, host. You have obtained perfect Water Release chakra and nature transformation."

The corner of Chiya's mouth lifted almost imperceptibly. He got to his feet, putting on an act of regret. "It seems Teacher Kurenai still thinks I'm too young. Then let's wait until we're older before we start dating."

As he spoke, Chiya walked down from the podium beneath the admiring gazes of Akizuki Airi and Akimichi Pangci.

Akizuki Airi even gave Chiya a thumbs-up, as if to say, Chiya, you're amazing. You actually dared to flirt with the teacher.

Just then, Yuhi Kurenai came to her senses.

Realizing she'd been teased, her expression shifted from green to purple before darkening completely. She suddenly called after Chiya. "Chiya."

"Here." Chiya turned around. He knew his actions had angered her.

"You just said you wanted to go out with me, right?" With a Body Flicker, Yuhi Kurenai appeared behind Chiya and gently stroked his cheek.

So that's the Body Flicker Technique of a Special Jōnin? Chiya watched her out of the corner of his eye, his expression unchanged. He'd already decided to face whatever came. "Yes."

"Then from now until you officially become a Chunin, I'll take very good care of you."

Yuhi Kurenai smiled dangerously, then turned to Akizuki Airi and Akimichi Pangci. "Come with me to the training ground. I want to get a good look at your abilities today."

"Yes." The two of them shivered for no apparent reason. Under their resentful gazes, the group headed to the training ground.

Yuhi Kurenai folded her arms and said coolly, "I'll give you time to discuss a strategy. Then you'll attack me together. Don't hold back. Fight as if you're prepared to kill me. I'll take very good care of you." The last sentence was directed at Chiya.
