Yuhi Kurenai

Qianye's relationship with Yuhi Kurenai began as that of a provocative student and his startled Jonin instructor. He confessed his love during Team Kurenai's introduction, secretly hypnotized her in their first spar, and rapidly surpassed her genjutsu ability 16 17 19. Their relationship deepened over missions, with Kurenai admitting her feelings while drunk and Qianye later confessing that he was willing to wait despite their age difference and his ties to Izumi 25 26.

After Qianye's apparent death and classification as an S-rank missing-nin, Kurenai withdrew into Konoha's Medical Department because she could not accept either his death or the possibility that he had annihilated the Sarutobi and Shimura clans 110 120. Qianye later returns to Konoha and exploits her conflicted feelings to persuade her not to attack him 120. Their relationship eventually becomes physical, and he entrusts her with a Flying Thunder God scroll 181. Kurenai is later treated as one of the women and family members Qianye seeks to protect during major conflicts 307 350.

Uchiha Izumi

Qianye saved Izumi during the Nine-Tails attack, replacing Itachi's original role as her rescuer and becoming her childhood friend and first major love interest 1 2. She gave him clothing, shared Uchiha techniques, and kept secret his use of Shadow Clones to attend the Academy 5 6 7.

During the Uchiha crisis, Izumi became central to Qianye's strategy and survival. He sought to protect her from the planned extermination, later faking both their deaths as part of his escape 29 48. Izumi awakens the Mangekyō Sharingan and becomes one of Qianye's closest companions 85. Uchiha Mikoto and Fujiwara Chika

Qianye develops a relationship with Uchiha Mikoto after the Uchiha massacre. Mikoto eventually becomes his wife and gives birth to their daughter, Fujiwara Chika, when Qianye is fourteen 87. Qianye devotes considerable time to Mikoto, Izumi, and Chika, often delegating Akatsuki work to Shadow Clones or Pakura to remain with them 87.

Chika is a gifted child who studies the Heavenly Steel Art, Ninja Academy material, Great Fireball Technique, and Shadow Clone Technique from a young age 201 225. Qianye is highly protective of her and leaves Shadow Clones, barriers, and Flying Thunder God marks to ensure that his family can be rescued immediately in an emergency 200 289. Mikoto, Izumi, and Chika remain central to his personal priorities throughout the later story 289 350.

Tsunade and Fujiwara Chinatsu

Qianye meets Tsunade in Tanzaku Town after Pakura's revenge against Rasa. He initially conceals his identity and history from her, but they become intimately involved and have a daughter, Fujiwara Chinatsu 104 105 109. Tsunade later learns that Qianye is a former Konoha ninja and the annihilator of the Sarutobi and Shimura clans, leaving her conflicted between loyalty to Hiruzen and her feelings for him 115.

Qianye later reveals his Sharingan and teaches Tsunade the foundations of Armament Haki 216. Though Tsunade often condemns his methods, she understands that many of his actions are motivated by protecting his family and Konoha's people 233 247 308. Pakura

Pakura becomes Qianye's Akatsuki partner after he saves her from Sunagakure's planned betrayal and Kirigakure's execution mission 70 78. She joins Akatsuki to seek revenge against Rasa and the Sunagakure leadership, eventually receiving the chance to confront Rasa directly 79 104.

Pakura grows increasingly loyal to Qianye, relies on his guidance after achieving revenge, and becomes one of the people closest to him 104 218. She maintains the distinctive habit of calling him "Lord Chiya," a form of address she considers unique to their relationship 218. She accompanies him in Tailed Beast missions, the Konoha operation, and later conflicts 221 248 307.

Konan and Nagato

Qianye initially flirts with Konan and repeatedly attempts to become her partner, drawing Pain's suspicion and opposition 60 70. His relationship with her gradually deepens through their Akatsuki association, gifts such as the Pure Gold ring, and his repeated interventions on her behalf 200 220.

After Pain's attack on Konoha, Qianye uses Flying Thunder God to bring Konan, Nagato, and Yahiko's body back to Amegakure, then revives Nagato through medical ninjutsu 321. Uchiha Itachi

Qianye and Itachi have a relationship defined by suspicion, strategic cooperation, and mutual knowledge of the Uchiha massacre's hidden events. Sarutobi Hiruzen and Shimura Danzō

Qianye's relationship with Konoha's leadership began with Hiruzen's recognition of his talent and use of him as an asset to monitor the Uchiha 15 19 29. Qianye outwardly professed loyalty while secretly manipulating Hiruzen's expectations to protect Izumi and advance his own plans 21 29.

Danzō regarded Qianye as a threat, placed him on Root's blacklist, and sought to eliminate him 19 32. Qianye retaliated against Danzō, stole Shisui's Sharingan, annihilated the Sarutobi and Shimura clans, and became one of Konoha's greatest enemies 12 39 44. Later revelations describe Hiruzen and Danzō as having attempted to manipulate Qianye and Itachi into destroying each other after the Uchiha massacre 384.
