It could vaguely foresee a glimpse of the future.

As for Fugaku, he had always worried about the Uchiha Clan's future, yet was powerless to change things.

My left eye can predict what will happen in the next five seconds, while my right eye can see what happened in the past five minutes. If I use both eyes at once, and I'm lucky, I can glimpse a hazy fragment of the future."
"Chiya, you seem to have killed quite a few people from the Sarutobi Clan."
Chiya understood and chuckled. "I didn't just kill quite a few. You could say I wiped out the entire Sarutobi Clan. Only Sarutobi Hiruzen, Sarutobi Asuma, and Sarutobi Konohamaru are left. I didn't spare the Shimura Clan, either. Apart from that old bastard Danzo, I wiped them all out."
"Those two old bastards gave me the choice of leaving Izumi behind or wiping out the Uchiha Clan. Then they ordered your precious son to kill Izumi and me."
"If they dared to target me, they should have been prepared to pay the price."
"Besides, you could say I got revenge for Izumi's family—your Uchiha Clan."
"I see. In that case, the Third and Danzo will be furious when they find out." Relief spread across Uchiha Fugaku's face, and he laughed heartily. "Chiya, on behalf of the souls of the entire Uchiha Clan, I thank you."
As he spoke, he bent forward and prostrated himself before Chiya.
His tone shifted. The smile faded from Uchiha Fugaku's face as he suddenly asked, "Chiya, do you know why I trusted you back then, even though I knew you were a spy sent by Konoha's High Command?"
"Wasn't it because your precious son had been brainwashed by the Third and Danzo and was about to kill his own parents?" Chiya scoffed.
Uchiha Fugaku laughed helplessly. "That was one reason. But another was that I saw the hope of the Uchiha Clan's revival in you."
"What hope?" Chiya was taken aback. Almost all the Uchiha were dead now, and even by the end of Naruto, the Uchiha Clan still hadn't revived.
There was only one son left, all alone, and he'd even lost an arm.
(ps: By "the end" here, I mean the end of Shippuden. I, Green Pepper, refuse to acknowledge trash like Boruto, and I won't cite any of its trash settings.

"Itachi should be here soon. After I die, you can take my Sharingan, along with the jutsu the Uchiha Clan has collected. In exchange, I want you to take Mikoto away from Konoha." Uchiha Fugaku bowed and pleaded.
As soon as he finished speaking, the long-silent system prompt rang out in Chiya's mind:
