Hinata Enrolls

Today is the opening day of the Konoha Ninja Academy in the Land of Fire.

Hinata and Kamizuki were in the training hall, practicing until six in the morning before finishing their daily morning drills. They returned to their respective rooms, changed, washed up, and only then came out for breakfast.

After finishing breakfast, Hiashi took the two siblings out to head to school.

Hiashi seemed to be in a wonderful mood today, walking along the path to the school with one child held in each hand.

Hinata and Kamizuki were led by Hiashi's large hands, following obediently behind him. Kamizuki looked at Hiashi, who still wore his usual stern and dignified expression, yet one could discern Hiashi's excellent mood from his peaceful gaze.

Some might ask, how on earth can you tell what someone is thinking from eyes that look like "cataracts"?

The author replies with a very serious and responsible attitude: "How would I know! If you're so capable, go ask Kamizuki. Go ask that kid how he manages to see it."

Walking on the road to the Ninja Academy, the Hiashi family once again became the focus of every bystander's attention.

This was hardly surprising, as in the current Konoha, the Hyuga Clan and the Uchiha Clan had become the "strongest families in Konoha."

As the head of the Hyuga Clan, Hiashi's status and prestige in Konoha were self-evident.

Some bold villagers even took the initiative to step forward and bow to Hiashi, and Hiashi returned their greetings politely one by one.

After Hiashi walked with the two children for about ten or twenty minutes, they finally arrived at the gate of the Ninja Academy.

Upon reaching the school gate, Kamizuki realized that quite a few people had arrived today, and among the crowd, he spotted many familiar faces.

There were those from Kamizuki's own grade, such as Rock Lee and Tenten, as well as the new first-year students from Hinata's grade. Among them stood Uzumaki Naruto, who stood alone to the side with fox-like whisker marks on his face; Inuzuka Kiba, who had a small dog perched on his head; Uchiha Sasuke, who was riding on the back of his brother Itachi; and Akimichi Choji, who was munching away on a bag of potato chips with a constant crunching sound. Almost everyone who had made an appearance in the anime from Hinata's generation was there.

After Kamizuki greeted those old acquaintances one by one, he accompanied Hiashi and Hinata to handle Hinata's enrollment procedures.

Once the paperwork was finished, Hiashi headed back, as there were still clan affairs waiting for him to attend to.

After Hinata and Kamizuki saw Hiashi off at the school gate, Kamizuki accompanied Hinata to her classroom.

As soon as they reached the door, Hinata began to grow timid. She hid behind Kamizuki, who was just a little taller than her, and poked her small head out to peek into the classroom.

Seeing Hinata like this, Kamizuki could only smile helplessly, using an encouraging tone to half-push and half-coax her into the classroom.

Watching Hinata walk into the classroom with a timid and submissive air, Kamizuki couldn't help but offer a wry smile, silently complaining to himself: Anyone who doesn't know better would surely think I'm Hinata's older brother. Heh...

Just as Kamizuki was about to turn and leave for his own classroom, he bumped into someone the moment he turned around.

As Kamizuki looked to see who he had collided with, he realized he knew the person—it was Umino Iruka, the homeroom teacher for Hinata and Naruto's class.

In the original work, Umino Iruka's background was set as follows: he originally lived in a happy and harmonious family, but the Nine-Tails incident destroyed it. Iruka witnessed his parents, both Jonin, sacrifice themselves to protect the village.

After that, Iruka's personality underwent a huge transformation. At school, he was the class clown, but when alone, he would often hide in front of the Konoha Memorial Stone to cry in secret. It wasn't until the Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, discovered this behavior and offered him careful guidance that he slowly recovered.

After being promoted to Chunin, he decided to join the Konoha Ninja Academy to cultivate more talent and strength for the village.

During his time as a teacher, Iruka was adept at drawing out children's potential and training them into ninjas who could boost Konoha's combat power. He served as a teacher, but in the event of emergency missions, he would also give his all to execute them. He was highly capable and trusted by the Konoha upper echelons, led by Sarutobi Hiruzen.

After Naruto entered the Ninja Academy, Iruka treated him like a younger brother, becoming the first person in Konoha, aside from the Third Hokage, to acknowledge Naruto.

When Kamizuki watched the anime, he was also drawn in by the very first arc where Naruto was deceived by Mizuki, another Ninja Academy teacher, into stealing the Scroll of Seals, which was what made him start loving the series.

Kamizuki snapped out of his memories and apologized to Iruka with great embarrassment.

Iruka wore an indifferent expression and said, "You are Hyuga Hinata's younger brother? Hyuga Kamizuki?"

"You know me?" Kamizuki asked uncertainly, not expecting Iruka to know who he was.

Iruka smiled knowingly, nodded at Kamizuki, and said with a laugh, "Of course I know you. You were the top rookie with the best grades last semester!"

Hearing Iruka say this, Kamizuki felt truly awkward. He rubbed his head and was just about to say something when the bell for class suddenly rang.

In the end, Kamizuki had to bid Iruka farewell and run toward his own classroom.

The first day of the new semester basically passed like that, and Hinata also began to slowly integrate into this group-living lifestyle.

It was a weekend afternoon. Neither Hinata nor Kamizuki had classes today, and Hiashi was in the training hall, patiently and meticulously teaching them the Gentle Fist.

Hiashi looked with great satisfaction at his son, who was like a monster in terms of talent. He had discovered that his son had made tremendous progress recently in both chakra volume and the Gentle Fist, improving at a rocket-like pace that made him very happy.

Looking at this monstrous son, Hiashi couldn't help but think:

Over these past few years, although their Hyuga Clan remained a great family with a reputation that resounded throughout the Ninja World, it was completely incomparable to the "Hyuga Clan" at the time of Konoha's founding!

Looking at the years since Hinata and Kamizuki were born, the growth of the younger generation in the clan had been quite good!

Take the child of his younger brother, Hyuga Hizashi—Hyuga Neji. That child's talent was also quite good, though he was a bit arrogant.

And there was his eldest daughter; although she wasn't as monstrous as her brother, nor as talented as Neji, he had seen with his own eyes how hard she had been training alongside her brother these past few years.

The mission of revitalizing the Hyuga Clan in the future would depend on these younger generations. He must make sure to cultivate them well from now on!
