Background / History

Kou is a transmigrator from Earth who was reborn into the Uchiha clan. His family moved next door to Uchiha Obito’s when Kou was about one year old, making the two childhood neighbors. After Obito’s parents died on a mission, Kou’s aunt and uncle later sacrificed themselves; their deaths drove Kou into relentless training. His friendship with Obito and Rin began after Rin confronted him for beating Obito during this period. 2 3 5

As a child, Kou publicly defended Hatake Sakumo against the condemnation following the White Fang’s failed mission, becoming widely known in Konoha for his verbal rebuke of the crowd.
