Background / History

Obito grew up in Konoha alongside Uchiha Kou and Nohara Rin. As a child, he was energetic, sentimental, and eager to be useful, even proposing that the three leave messages for their future selves in a time capsule 228 229. He defended Kou when Kakashi dismissed Kou’s talent, showing an early loyalty toward his friend 40.

During the Battle of Kannabi Bridge, Obito was presumed dead. He was instead rescued by Uchiha Madara, whose use of Hashirama Cells restored his devastated body 215.
