Watching Wang Sheng train under Kami's guidance, Wang Yang smiled faintly. He placed a hand on Bulma's shoulder, and in a flash, the two of them vanished from Kami's Lookout.
"Hmm?" Kami seemed to sense something. He looked at the spot where Bulma had disappeared and smiled faintly.
You finally came back.
"Hey, why did you bring me home?" Bulma frowned at Wang Yang, taking in the familiar surroundings.
Their son was still training at Kami's Lookout!
"Bulma, Wang Yang, you're back." Briefs was taking a stroll in the garden. Seeing his daughter and son-in-law, he immediately smiled.
"Yep, we're back!"
"You still haven't answered my question!" Bulma put her hands on her hips, her brows rising in a frown.
"What's wrong with spending some time alone together?" Wang Yang suddenly winked at Bulma.
"Huh? You're right. I should go shopping, buy clothes, get my hair done, and travel." Bulma was taken aback for a moment, then smiled. Ever since having a child, she'd devoted all her attention to their son and hadn't taken the time to relax in ages.
With Wang Sheng training at Kami's Lookout this time, he wouldn't be around to interrupt her.
Over the following days, even while keeping Bulma company on her outings, Wang Yang never let his training slip. His body was constantly being tempered.
He also made a trip to Blue-Green Star to give Wang Shen some pointers.
That day, Wang Yang pressed his index and middle fingers to his forehead, and in a flash, he vanished.
Not long after Wang Yang left, two meteors streaked across the sky. The warriors on Earth looked up, their faces grave, and flew into the air.
The moment he appeared in an unfamiliar place, a powerful punch came flying at him.
Wang Yang raised his brows slightly and tilted his head aside, dodging the blow.
"I came all this way to see you, and the first thing you do is punch me? That's no way to treat a guest." Wang Yang looked at Son Goku, who stood before him in an orange martial arts uniform, looking even more muscular than before, and chuckled.
This planet's gravity was ten times that of Earth. Goku had weights strapped to all four limbs as he practiced his punches and kicks.
"Wang Yang, what are you doing here?" Goku took off his weights and stared at Wang Yang in surprise.
"Why am I here? I'm here to take you home." Wang Yang looked at Goku in exasperation. Just as he'd thought, if he hadn't come, this guy would have kept training here forever.
"Leave?" Goku was momentarily stunned.
"Don't tell me you weren't planning to leave. What about Chi-Chi and Gohan?" Wang Yang asked with a smile.
"Haha! Of course I was! It's just hard to get here from King Kai's place. Next time, I'd have to ask Kami to guide me, then travel along Snake Way. It's so complicated, so I figured I'd train here a while longer." Goku scratched the back of his head and gave an awkward laugh.
"Wang Yang, I feel like I've gotten so much stronger. I might even be able to beat you now." Thinking of how he'd trained relentlessly all this time, barely stopping to eat or sleep, Goku grinned.
Last time they'd fought, Wang Yang had only been a little stronger than him. Now, Wang Yang had to be far behind. Besides, Goku had learned an incredible technique from King Kai.
Knowing Wang Yang's character, Goku was sure he wouldn't get angry just because Goku had surpassed him, so he bragged a little about his progress.
"Is that so? How about we spar?" Seeing the confidence on Son Goku's face, Wang Yang's eyes lit up, and he leaned forward eagerly.
He really wanted to see just how powerful King Kai's Fist was, and whether Goku could make him use his full strength.
"Then don't blame me for going all out." Goku's eyes lit up. After training for so long, he was eager to test his progress against Wang Yang.
Goku let out a roar, and a fierce aura burst from his body. A monkey nearby was caught off guard by the powerful gust, flipped head over heels several times, and finally managed to steady himself by clinging tightly to a tree trunk.
King Kai was sprawled on a lounge chair, a book covering his face as he snored away. Suddenly, a roar rang out, startling him so badly that he and the chair were sent flying.
"What happened?"
"Well?" White steam surged from Goku's body. Feeling the immense power within him, he looked at Wang Yang with confidence.
"Not enough, not enough. Can you go higher?" Wang Yang shook his head with a smile. He wasn't sure whether this was all Goku had, but knowing how he was, Goku was probably still holding back.
"Not enough?" Goku flexed his hands, then let out another roar. The aura around him climbed to a new level.
If Wang Yang said it wasn't enough, then it wasn't enough. Goku stopped holding back and unleashed his full power.
"How about now?" Goku said with a beaming smile.
"Just barely enough," Wang Yang said with a smile. Goku still hadn't used King Kai's Fist.
But feeling Goku's power, Wang Yang couldn't help marveling. Unlike in the original story, Goku hadn't wasted five years. His fighting power was now terrifying—about half of what King Cold had been.
If he transformed into a Legendary Super Saiyan, he could pin King Cold and his son to the ground and beat them with one hand.
"I really don't know how you've trained all these years," Goku muttered. Then he shouted, clenched his fist, and charged at Wang Yang.
Wang Yang smiled faintly and didn't dodge. He clenched his right fist and swung it at Goku's.
Boom!
A thunderous crash rang out, and the tiny planet trembled several times.
He blocked my full-power punch that easily? Goku could hardly believe it. Wasn't Wang Yang only a little stronger than him? Goku had trained extremely hard under King Kai for the past two years. How had he still not surpassed Wang Yang?
But this kind of battle was what made it fun. Saiyans loved the thrill of a fierce fight.
Goku, his blood boiling, charged again, and the two of them clashed fiercely in the air.
Just then, Goku appeared to Wang Yang's right and brought down a sharp elbow strike.
Wang Yang didn't move. Just as Goku thought he'd landed the hit, Wang Yang suddenly vanished.
Damn, an afterimage! Goku was shocked. Then a sharp pain hit his stomach, and he went flying backward. The force carried him around the planet several times before he finally came to a stop.
I haven't fought anyone in two years. I'm a little rusty, Son Goku thought.
"Hey, go easy! My planet can't take this kind of beating!" King Kai looked at the furrowed trenches carved into the ground, on the verge of tears.
Before Goku could steady himself, Wang Yang surged forward again and launched a fierce attack.
Again?! After fighting Wang Yang so many times, Goku knew his style well. He always went straight for the kill when his opponent was down.
Aaaah!
A furious roar echoed through the sky. A red glow enveloped Goku, and his figure suddenly darted through the air like a snake, evading Wang Yang's pursuit.
"King Kai's Fist times two!"
