Son Goku vs. Broly

Paragus wore a smug smile. Son Goku and Vegeta could never be a match for Broly. He had won this fight. Heh!

As they spoke, Son Goku transformed into a Super Saiyan. His aura surged, startling both Broly and Paragus.

Paragus stammered, "W-What is this? It feels like Son Goku's power has increased tremendously."

He still wanted to use the Scouter to measure Son Goku's power. What era was this? He was still using such outdated equipment.

Vegeta gave a disdainful smile, then Ye Ming said calmly, "Isn't this the Super Saiyan transformation you've been dreaming of? You'd better start learning."

"What? A Super Saiyan? Son Goku actually knows how to transform into one? This..." Sweat beaded on Paragus's forehead. The composure he had once possessed was long gone.

Son Goku charged in first and punched Broly hard, sending him crashing through layer after layer of rock.

Broly cried out in pain as he was smashed into a crack in the rocks. Son Goku pressed his advantage, gathering an enormous energy wave in his hands and slamming it down on Broly!

Broly wasn't stupid. He hurriedly raised both hands to shield his chest. A flash of light, then—BOOM!!!

Vegeta watched calmly and said, "It's not over already, is it? He's even weaker than I expected."

Ye Ming smiled. "Maybe Son Goku will make Broly stronger and stronger, Vegeta. Get ready, and don't underestimate him."

Clearly, the explosion hadn't hurt Broly much. Smoke poured from his body as he let out a roar, and an incredibly powerful energy began surging from him.

Deep-green energy rose from Broly, and his pupils grew more and more beastlike. He was gradually slipping into a rage.

Paragus said, somewhat frightened, "This is bad. Broly's starting to lose control. If they keep fighting like this, things could become extremely dangerous."

Paragus tried to press the remote control that kept Broly in check, hoping to calm him down. But Ye Ming grabbed his hand, snatched the remote, and crushed it.

Paragus was stunned. Ye Ming said coolly, "All I need you to do is stand here and watch quietly. I don't need you doing anything. Understand?"

A layer of deep-green energy enveloped Broly as he rushed toward Son Goku. Seeing him charge, Son Goku quickly took up a fighting stance.

Broly attacked Son Goku like a wild beast. Son Goku could feel the strength in his punches increasing, and his attacks were getting faster and faster.

But Son Goku caught an opening and punched Broly in the waist, knocking him hard to the ground. Seeing this, Son Goku fired a barrage of energy blasts at Broly.

As the dust cleared, Broly roared and charged at Son Goku. Son Goku was startled, but Broly seized his chance and punched him in the face. Son Goku cried out in pain and went flying!

Broly attacked Son Goku relentlessly like a wild beast. Now, Broly was fighting Kakarot evenly—and was even beginning to gain the upper hand.

He really is incredible! His attacks are every bit as fast as mine. Son Goku immediately took on his red-haired Super Saiyan form!

A storm of energy surged around him. Broly watched Son Goku transform into a different form. His red hair and unfathomable aura gave Broly the sense that his power was beyond measure.

But Broly wasn't about to give up. He roared and charged at Son Goku. Just as he was about to land a hit, Son Goku caught his fist.

Broly grimaced as he felt the force of Son Goku's grip. Suddenly, Son Goku tightened his hand and crushed Broly's fist out of shape.

Son Goku immediately punched Broly in the chest, then spun around and kicked him away.

But Broly used a rock as a foothold and attacked Son Goku again in an instant. Son Goku gathered his energy and unleashed an invisible barrage of attacks at Broly from a distance.

Broly couldn't sense them at all. Countless attacks struck him. He cried out in pain, smoke rising from his chest as he slammed into the ground.

Broly had already suffered considerable injuries, but then his eyes snapped open. His golden pupils grew even more terrifying, and he roared as energy continued to erupt from his body.

Under the force of this power, Planet Vampa began to tremble. The rocks around Broly shattered under the pressure of his aura, and a massive tornado formed around him. The energy bursting from his body left both Vegeta and Son Goku stunned.

Vegeta said, "What? He can unleash such tremendous power without even transforming into a Super Saiyan?"

Son Goku watched Broly with a grave expression. What kind of freak is he? After taking that devastating attack, he's gotten even stronger. His aura is much stronger than before!

Ye Ming smiled. "Looks like the real show is just getting started. Whis, what do you think of Broly?"

Whis observed Broly and said, "He certainly has potential, but he doesn't seem able to control his power. We'll have to find a way to teach him to control it when we get back."

Ye Ming smiled. "Isn't that what you're here for, Whis? I'll leave him to you when we get back. Make sure you whip him into shape. Ha ha!"

At Ye Ming's words, Whis covered his mouth and laughed. Their attention returned to the battlefield, where Son Goku and Broly were fighting.

Broly charged at Son Goku in an instant, moving several times faster than before. He vanished from directly in front of Son Goku and appeared behind him.

Son Goku was taken aback. He hadn't expected Broly to have been learning how to fight during their battle. Son Goku grew even more excited. Now this is the kind of opponent I like!

Broly snarled and attacked Son Goku. Son Goku was now at a disadvantage, suppressed by Broly's powerful punches. He kicked at Broly's head, but Broly didn't budge. He glared viciously at Son Goku.

Realizing he was in trouble, Son Goku tried to react, but Broly grabbed him by the foot. Broly raced through the layers of rock, smashing Son Goku around in every direction. Son Goku was taking a brutal beating.

Broly chased after him and, with a furious roar, punched Son Goku in the abdomen, sending him crashing away. Son Goku spat out a mouthful of bitter fluid, his eyes wide open. That punch had been incredibly powerful!

Son Goku was slammed into the rock face. He roared as blue flames of energy surged from his body. He transformed into a Super Saiyan Blue, and the mighty aura around him shattered the nearby rocks.

Son Goku charged at Broly in an instant. Broly hurriedly struck back, punching toward him, but Son Goku easily dodged.

Son Goku kicked Broly in the head, then gathered an enormously powerful energy wave between his hands and fired it at him.

BOOM!!!

But at that moment, Broly suddenly burst out of the dust cloud, grabbed Son Goku by the collar, and hurled him hard at the ground. Then Broly stomped on Son Goku's abdomen and continued to pummel him.

Son Goku screamed in pain. Broly was still increasing the force and frequency of his attacks.

Vegeta grinned and said, "Hmph! Kakarot let his guard down again. Serves him right! But Broly really is powerful, just as you'd expect from the Legendary Super Saiyan."

Just as Broly was about to bring down another attack, a dazzling light burst from Son Goku's pupils. He entered the Ultra Instinct Sign form, and his blue, scorching aura began to surge.

He suddenly vanished from where he stood and landed a heavy punch on Broly. Broly was stunned and went flying with a cry of pain.

Broly got back up in an instant and attacked Son Goku again, but Son Goku was no longer the same as before.

Son Goku easily read Broly's movements, leaning slightly to dodge his attacks. Then Son Goku unleashed a fierce barrage of blows! Countless punches rained down on Broly.

Broly stared wide-eyed at the flurry of attacks and could only raise his arms to shield his chest. But he couldn't withstand them and was smashed into the rock face, falling beneath the rubble.

Son Goku gathered energy in his hands and prepared to fire a Kamehameha at Broly, hoping to knock him out of the fight for good. He thought the battle should be over.

Amid a brilliant blue beam of light, a huge explosion shot into the sky. Broly was completely buried beneath the rocks.

Son Goku immediately thought, I can't let Broly die like this. We need him as a fighter!

Vegeta said calmly, "Is it over just like that? I have to say, I'm a little disappointed. But Broly can't beat us right now, though his potential is enormous!"

"Over? No, no. The fight has only just begun, Vegeta. You might even get a chance to step in!" Ye Ming shook his head at Vegeta's words.

Vegeta was stunned by what Ye Ming said. As he stood there in shock, Son Goku sensed a powerful energy rising from beneath his feet.

Son Goku quickly dodged. A column of green energy shot into the sky, and Broly slowly rose into the air. He suddenly opened his eyes and roared repeatedly.

Broly's power continued to grow. His muscles became larger and tougher, and the aura radiating from him grew more and more terrifying.

In the distance, Son Goku's eyes were already wide as he stared at Broly in disbelief!
