Kaio-ken x3 Kamehameha

Just as the two were locked in a fierce battle, Son Gohan was watching the area around them.

In the original Dragon Ball story, Dr. Gero had once said that he had sent out tiny robots to gather data on Son Goku and Vegeta's battles.

After looking around for a while, Son Gohan spotted a white micro-robot smaller than a thumbnail.

"Found you!"

As he spoke, Son Gohan flashed forward and grabbed the micro-robot.

The micro-robot seemed to realize it had been caught and immediately struggled against Son Gohan.

Son Gohan gave a cold snort and stored it in the system's inventory.

"Gohan!"

Just then, Piccolo and the others noticed Son Gohan in the distance.

Son Gohan nodded, then quickly flew over to Piccolo.

"Gohan, did something happen?"

"Nothing. I thought I saw something moving just now, but I must have been mistaken!"

"I see!"

After hearing that, Piccolo immediately turned his attention to Son Goku's fight.

He had originally thought that even after training for a year on King Kai's Planet, Son Goku wouldn't be much stronger than him.

But who could have imagined... the gap between them had grown so enormous.

At the thought, Piccolo clenched both fists.

Once this fight was over, he would train hard and do everything he could to catch up with Son Goku.

"Ha!"

Just then, Vegeta clenched his fists, and a powerful aura burst from his body, rapidly growing stronger.

Boom!

The ground all around shook violently under the influence of Vegeta's power, sending huge amounts of sand and stones flying.

Golden light shone all over Vegeta, and a huge dark cloud appeared in the sky, blotting it out.

"Wh-what a powerful ki!"

As soon as he spoke, fierce gusts of wind burst from Vegeta's body.

Son Goku raised his right arm to shield himself from the wind and staggered backward.

"Ha!"

Just then, Vegeta gave a mighty shout, and an incredibly dazzling light enveloped his body.

A moment later, when everything had settled, Vegeta had raised his battle power to 18,000.

"The shaking has stopped, and the dark clouds in the sky have disappeared!"

Son Goku glanced around as he spoke.

Then he immediately looked at Vegeta standing before him.

With his power increased, Vegeta's expression had grown calm.

Just then, Vegeta suddenly shouted and shot toward Son Goku as fast as lightning.

Son Goku was startled. Before he could react, Vegeta slammed his shoulder into him and sent him flying.

Vegeta flashed forward, quickly appearing in front of the airborne Son Goku, then drove his right elbow hard into Son Goku's back.

Bang!!

Son Goku was struck down and crashed onto a small mountain peak.

"Thud..."

Son Goku landed on both feet, his body once again surrounded by a powerful red aura.

"Kaio-ken x2!"

With a loud shout, Son Goku turned into a streak of red light and charged at Vegeta.

Vegeta flashed away, appearing behind Son Goku.

Son Goku spun around quickly, only to see a long leg flying toward him.

Bang!!

Vegeta's right foot slammed into Son Goku's chest. Son Goku shot away like a beam and crashed hard into a mountain behind him.

"Goku!"

Krillin and the others grew worried when they saw that.

Vegeta sneered.

"Kakarot, is that all you've got?"

After hearing him, Son Goku flew out of the mountain and landed on a small peak, panting heavily.

A moment later, his gaze suddenly grew resolute.

"I have no choice. Even if it hurts my body—or even costs me my life—I can only push Kaio-ken to three times!"

"What's wrong, Kakarot? Have you run out of tricks?" Vegeta said with a smile when Son Goku still didn't move.

Son Goku slowly closed his eyes.

"My body, you'd better hold up!"

Vegeta's expression shifted slightly.

Just then, Son Goku opened his eyes, and a powerful red aura burst from his body.

"Kaio-ken x3!"

With a loud shout, Son Goku turned into a streak of red light and charged at Vegeta.

Vegeta was startled. Before he could react, Son Goku's right fist slammed into him.

Bang!!

With a deafening crash, Vegeta was sent flying like a beam.

"Ha!"

Son Goku shouted and shot forward like a flash of light, appearing above Vegeta.

Then Son Goku drove his right fist forward, punching Vegeta out of the air and sending him crashing down.

With a tremendous boom, Vegeta smashed into a huge mountain, bringing it down.

A massive cloud of dust rose from the ground.

"Huff, huff..."

Son Goku panted heavily as the fiery red aura around him slowly faded.

Although Son Goku had hurt Vegeta by using Kaio-ken x3, forcing himself to use it had also placed an enormous strain on his body.

At the thought, Son Goku immediately glanced over at Son Gohan behind him.

If Son Gohan had fought this battle, it would probably have been over long ago.

But he had trained for a year on King Kai's Planet, so he wanted to see how he fared against Vegeta.

"Ha!"

Just then, Vegeta shouted, releasing a powerful aura that blasted away the rocks covering him.

Vegeta looked at his hand and saw that it was stained with blood.

"I... I'm actually injured!"

Vegeta murmured in disbelief.

Then, furious, he looked up at Son Goku in the sky.

Whoosh!!

Vegeta pushed off hard with both feet and quickly flew high into the air.

The strain Kaio-ken x3 had put on Son Goku's body was too much, and he had already landed on a small mountain peak.

"Ha!"

Just then, Vegeta brought both hands together behind him, and purple lightning crackled between them.

"What!"

Son Goku was startled.

Then he glanced behind him and said,

"Could it be... he's trying to destroy the Earth?!"

Vegeta gave a cold snort.

"That's right, Kakarot. If you want to dodge, go ahead. But the Earth behind you won't be spared!"

After hearing that, Son Goku clenched both fists.

"I won't dodge!"

"Ha!"

After saying this, Son Goku's body immediately blazed with a powerful red aura. He slowly brought both hands together behind him and said,

"Kaio-ken x3 Kamehameha!"

Just then, Vegeta finished gathering his energy and thrust both hands forward.

"Galick Gun!"

As Vegeta spoke, a purple beam shot from his hands toward Son Goku.

"Ha!"

Son Goku gave a loud shout and fired the Kamehameha as well.
