Saiyan Prince and Frieza Force

Vegeta arrives on Earth with Nappa as the prince of the Saiyan race. He regards Goku as a low-class warrior and dismisses Earth's defenders as weak based on their Scouter readings. 14 16

He demonstrates extreme contempt for weakness by killing Nappa after Nappa is incapacitated, declaring that he has no need for “useless trash.” 16 Vegeta initially overwhelms Goku in their duel, countering Kaio-ken with superior speed and combat skill. 16 17

After Goku's Senzu Bean recovery reverses their power balance, Vegeta transforms into a Great Ape.
