Jiraiya's Vision

Soon, Chiba was brought before Jiraiya by Nagato.

"Chiba, you're here."

Jiraiya set down the scroll in his hand and nodded at Chiba. "A remark Nagato made a few days ago gave me a hint, leading me to an idea that might be feasible. It should be able to help you."

"What idea?"

Chiba's face was full of surprise; he truly couldn't imagine what other methods Jiraiya could possibly have to assist him.

Seeing Chiba's astonished expression, Jiraiya laughed. "A few days ago, Nagato came to me for help, asking if there was a way to share his chakra with you. I didn't have any thoughts at first, but later, I suddenly realized that perhaps it isn't impossible."

"Share chakra?"

Chiba's eyes widened, and he asked skeptically, "Can chakra even be shared?"

As he spoke, Chiba suddenly remembered something. It seemed there really were people in the Ninja World who could share chakra.

One of them was the protagonist, Naruto. Later, during the Ninja World War, Naruto had shared Nine-Tails chakra with hundreds of people, turning them into mini-Nine-Tails with abundant chakra and greatly enhancing their combat power—it was practically a cheat code.

However, such a situation was unlikely to happen with Nagato. After all, what Naruto did was a combination of Sage Art and Nine-Tails chakra; regardless of age or ability, the current Nagato was incapable of that.
